The Proper Marmalade Company Ltd Avis 

The goods arrived damaged and we had emailed the company and they did not respond. However, this seemed to be a tech error and when they were notified of the issue here, they were prompt and professional, which we appreciated as tech issues can happen.

We have suggested that the packaging is changed to limit damages and to instil confidence in ordering by post as the Marmalade is lovely.

Great selection of marmalade. I ordered twice over two three weeks just to make sure I didn't run out. I know it's a wee bit more expensive but I just think it's worth it. I save up then treat myself.

Great marmalade (Tawny Seville) which I'v been buying for many years. A bit of a mix up on the delivery; I was expecting it to be sent on Thursday but Alex was sending it the following Tuesday which wouldn't work for me. An email exchange between us revealed my order was placed without going via the Home page which was where the full delivery details were provided. Because Google sent me straight to the item page (missing out on the Home page) I was able to order with a slightly different set of delivery details. Alex sorted my order out so that it was sent on a day that worked for me and has amended the payment page so that anyone who, like me, bought without visiting the Home page will be properly informed about when orders will be dispatched. Not only Proper Marmalade but (now) also Proper dispatch info. So, both great marmalade and great service, who could ask for more.

Some of the marmalades were quite sloppy and my husband wasn’t overly impressed with flavour infact he said one tasted like frank coopers which is a mass produced product. So for small batch cooking quite unremarkable

Love love Hot Orange with the addition of the chilli!! Great with crispy bacon in a sarnie. Clementine and Ginger again lovely taste with the ginger adding a zing.......pink grapefruit again another stunner!!
