The Rug Company Avis 28

So I had ordered a Blue Mohair rug from them back in January. I let the CS agent know that I was on a tight deadline and she was very understanding and assured me I'd get the rug in time. I got a rug at the last minute but it was the wrong rug. I provided incontrovertible evidence that the rug they sent me was wrong, but while they initially were being helpful with a return, the ended up ceasing all communication and telling me to dispute it with PayPal. I did exactly that and I eventually got an offer from them via PayPal to return the rug I was sent to receive the refund. They wouldn't send me a label, they expected me to pay to ship a 140lb rug. I did exactly that and it was delivered and signed by them at their warehouse almost a month ago, and they refused to follow through with the refund. Not only are these folks incompetent with absolute trash customer service, they also liars. Do yourself a favor and avoid this store at all costs.

Our rug came shortly after our order - faster than we anticipated. It was delivered safely in a very securely wrapped package. We are very pleased with the rug quality, design and colour - they all matched the picture online. The online reviewing, ordering and payment processes were all pretty straightforward and hassle-free. All in all, a pleasant and smooth purchasing experience. We will always come to The Rug Company for future purchases and will definitely recommend the company to friends and family. Well done!

I ordered the Wizlet Plain Wool rug. The rug is well made and soft to walk on. I am very happy I purchased from the Rug Company and will definitely buy more rugs from them. I really appreciated the customer service as well. They were able to coordinate holding my rug at the UPS location after it had already shipped.

The rating is about UPS, the forwarder that you selected. It is the 4th consecutive day that my parcel is declared "out for delivery" just to be degraded to a "on the way" which really means "not for today and maybe sometime in the future". At this point, I am still waiting for the parcel

Thank you for your reaction; unfortunately the cycle continues; I now noticed that the street number of my address, while correct in the order confirmation by the rug company, got modified in the UPS system: the correct number is 5 (five) NOT 6 (six) Rue de l'Abreuvoir

Delivery was prompt and helpful. Rug is wonderful, just what we wanted and met all our expectations on colour and quality.

Easy to order as a real person answers the phone and was accommodating in changing time of delivery. Two super helpful delivery men who went above and beyond in positioning the new rug and then repositioning the old one. Highly recommended company.

Ordering and delivery were excellent. We are very pleased with the wall hanging. Several of the beads keeping the bottom bobbles in place have come away leaving the bobbles loose to fall off - we will have to secure them ourselves.
