I had already tried the Seep sponges a few months ago and was quite impressed with their performance.
Seeing a recent programme about the environment prompted me to get a years supply. The delivery was quick and the packaging recyclable.

The scrubbers are ok but …
The scrubbers are ok but they harden up too much when dried out so this means using a lot of water to wait whilst they soften up enough to clean small items.

The materials Seep uses only grow in certain climates, and China is one of the places where they’re actually produced. On top of that, China already has the factories and machinery set up to turn those fibres into sponges. In theory, if climate change keeps galloping along, maybe one day we could grow the right plants here

Better for the planet and for the people...
Seep’s products, brand and values are everything this world needs. We now only use Seep products where they are available - gloves, the Pop-Up Sponges, Sponge Scourers, Bamboo Cloths - and find them to be long-lasting and just as good, if not better, than their plastic alternatives. The price is obviously a premium compared with those alternatives, but that makes us treat them with the respect they deserve, and in turn, they last us far longer. Not to mention the aesthetics, which are a nice bonus.

So far so good…
Ordering was straightforward products looks good. I just used one to clean my sink and it's worked well holds the washing up liquid well so less wastage. So far so good
