Frustrating
First two orders were great. Products are really good, don’t fault it. I mean that. Third order was a disaster. Delivery attempt on day no one had prearranged (no one home). Initially trying to suggest this was my fault as they had clearly indicated a delivery window (it was 5 days, and very unfair of stoneyard to expect me to wait at my home for 5 days in case they showed up). They agreed to pay for redelivery, rearranged for a specific day and nothing was delivered (waited at home). There was now an admin issue. Then resent again (third time not so lucky), express delivery, yet no information and no product as I write this review. Now to be fair stoneyard has not charged me for extra delivery (but I had to blatantly refuse to pay it). And it has cost them, but where this all just falls down is them washing their hands of this and telling me to sort it out with delivery company - I didn’t hire them, stoneyard did, and to expect me to run around in circles with delivery company and not getting involved in the chasing up is really not great. I won’t buy from them again. They need to get better delivery companies to partner with. And the Covid and brexit excuses for poor service are no longer acceptable. If I can’t get this sorted out tomorrow, I’ll be requesting a full refund (incl delivery) and if refused I’ll arrange a charge back with my card provider. If you have loads of patience, the products they sell are very good, and I’m happy with my first two orders. But when things go wrong, it is very frustrating to get to a satisfactory resolution.
