I bought this course before having my first baby and it gave me the confidence to take charge of my breastfeeding journey. My bubs just turned 1 and were still going strong. Thank you for this course it’s been amazing

I really respect the decades of experience Dr Robyn Thompson brings to the table. Her observations are astute, her intention pure, and, the results show. I personally find it is better to have more than once approach to breastfeeding - humans are very individual. The Thompson method is excellent in many (if not most/all) circumstances. I also VERY MUCH appreciate having lifetime access to the courses, it is good to go back over the content and absorb her wisdom. Thank you so much!

I have three sons. With my first, thanks to lack of research/know on my part and conflicting advice, I was never able to completely breastfeed my baby and ended up exclusively on formula after 8 or 9 months of triple feeding (breast, pump, formula). I felt like such a failure as a mom. I imagined how my poor baby would have starved to death if we lived in another time or another part of the world. When I became pregnant with my second child shortly after my first turned one, I was determined to breastfeed successfully. I bought this breastfeeding course and diligently watched basically everything. It gave me such confidence I had never experienced before! When my son was born, I was able to breastfeed without the need of formula for nearly 14 months. Now I have my third son. While I was pregnant with him I refreshed myself on the videos. Despite having an emergency c section for a breach baby, I was able to breastfeed him from the start, and we are still going strong 4 months later. Not only is he chunky, healthy (zero viruses thus far) and happy, but he absolutely won’t take a bottle, and I’m completely fine with that! I’m grateful to have found this and have actively recommended it to many moms.

I wish I'd got this program before I had my baby. Sitting in the hospital after birth and feeling like every midwife had a different way to feed I felt overwhelmed. I googled breastfeeding techniques and I came across The Thompson Method. I signed up and quickly scrolled to the video that was applicable and away we went. From that moment on I never felt alone or that I couldn't do it. The Facebook support group was fantastic for little fixes and have now successfully fed 2 babies for over 18months each. It feels daunting at the start but watch and rewatch the videos and if you've still got questions reach out to the support group because nothing in this parenthood journey has been as simple.

So lucky to have found this method. I sincerely wish I’d known about it sooner. It saved my second breastfeeding journey and allowed me to exclusively breastfeed my third. I struggled with latch and low supply with my first two, and the third journey. Everything is Tracking as it should.

The one thing I wanted to gift my child was breastmilk. I had so many of my friends and acquaintances tell me how it was hard, or there was no milk , baby couldn’t latch, nipple trauma etc etc. I got the program and learnt all I could before my baby was born. I felt extremely empowered and ready to go. Once the day arrived, all of my knowledge and instincts kicked in, I followed by babies needs and I have beautifully and successfully been feeding my babe for 16 months so far with one issue. This course was amazing. I have never heard someone I know talk about breastfeeding positively, so I always assumed it would be the same for me. I only heard stories of mastitis and how much it hurts, so I took this course hoping to have a different experience, and here I am 13 months later still feeding my baby and it has been amazing. This course doesn’t take away all the discomfort of breastfeeding, but it gives you the tools to not allow periods of discomfort to end your breastfeeding journey by teaching techniques that reduce pain and complications. This is so worth the money so don’t overthink it, you won’t regret it!

There are really no words to describe how amazing I think the Thompson method is. I came across it after I sobbed my way out of the third lactation consultants office and left wondering if I would be able to breastfeed my 5 week old baby. My milk was slow to appear and my baby was taken to NICU straight away so I lost the golden hours and had very little support in the hospital to help me establish feeding. They insisted he be put on formula and I spent the next weeks pumping almost every hour to try and establish some volume and wean off formula. The third consultant had me on a dangerously high dose of Domperidone and then told me I may never be able to feed.
I booked a rescue session with Rachel Austin and learned more about breastfeeding in my first 8 minutes with her than I had my life up until that point. She explained the mechanics of the proper latch and showed me how to do it over Zoom. By the following day he fed almost exclusively and we continued breastfeeding until he weaned himself off at 18 months. I will forever be grateful to the Thompson method team. They changed our lives in an extraordinary way. It’s my proudest achievement to date.

I absolutely loved The Thompson Method. I researched breastfeeding alot when I knew I was having my second baby. I was unable to breast feed my first son and really wanted to make it happen with my second son. I’m so glad I did this method as it taught me so much I didn’t know. I succeeded to breastfeed my son until he was 2 years young

I’m a mother of 2 boys, now 4 and 2. I had severe difficulties breastfeeding my first, had to combination feed and transition to formula only at about 4 months because I couldn’t face the extreme lack of sleep (I’m talking about never longer than an hour for 4 months), trying to navigate feeding, pumping and then topping up with formula any longer. I was a wreck and then felt such guilt for stopping breastfeeding.

When I was pregnant with my second son, I came across the Thompson method, decided to check out the free materials first and had so many of my questions answered that I invested in the course. I breastfed my second son until just over 2 years old and he naturally weaned.

Both boys were born via C-section - the first an emergency, the second one was scheduled.

I never had supply issues the second time around, never needed to pump and didn’t want to after the traumatic experiences with my first. I also rewatched the bite size clips during the early parts of my breastfeeding journey with my second whenever I doubted myself. It was so incredibly helpful and reassuring.

I cannot recommend the Thompson method highly enough. It saved my breastfeeding journey the second time around and I’m grateful beyond words. It is worth far more than the money I invested and I would highly highly recommend it.

I had such a traumatic breastfeeding experience with my first child. When I worked up the courage again to try with my third child, I had found the Thompson method and it was truly my last effort before I gave up entirely. I wish with all my heart that I had found it with my precious first baby. It was the most healing, incredible program and I tell everyone I know about it now. I was freshly post partum with my first child. At 2 days old she stopped breathing for 20 seconds and we ended up in the ER for 2 days (no cause found for her breathing but she was jaundice). I was made to pump and my nursing journey was at high risk. When she was off the light machine, she would not latch. I tried so hard to the point of her crying at the breast over and over and bottle being used because we could not get it to work. I reached out to the thompson method consultants and did a zoom meeting. They helped us get back on track. It was a fresh dose of hope in a very hard week that I will forever be grateful for. She just self-weaned (3 yrs of nursing, that slowly and gently ended by her own choice). Wow, what a difference this course made for me! I struggled with cracked, bleeding nipples for 6 weeks with my first baby, and I knew that there HAD to be a better way. I wish I had found the Thompson Method sooner. I joined when expecting baby number 2, and our breastfeeding journey was SO, SO much better. I felt encouraged and supported. The gentle method was right for me and baby. I knew what to ask the hospital for to set us up for success. I felt confident. She latched like a pro immediately. I had a minimal amount of nipple pain for only 2 weeks. My supply is stronger, and baby is doing exceptionally well with breastfeeding. 9 months in, and I felt like I was able to ask my questions and get the help I needed along the way!
