REALLY good customer service
REALLY good customer service - I ordered the glass cup, straw and lid set and there was a very slight issue with the product (manufacturers fault), and Josh sorted everything out for me and even dispatched me a new one literally within the space of a day! Highly recommend x

Ordered 3 times now and I am really happy with everything. All but one item arrived on time and it turned out Royal Mail had lost it. Trouvailles sent out a replacement immediately.
Take the few negative feedback ratings with a pinch of salt, I’ve had nothing but good experiences and the customer service person who seems to often be the one replying goes over and above to help out. People need to check delivery times properly when they buy something online. These guys are very clear on how long it will take and it’s not fair to leave feedback saying it took too long to arrive when they told you before you paid!

1st class customer service
Had to return a few of the items I bought because they didn’t quite fit into my scheme as I had hoped but the customer service was great and they helped me at each stage of the return.
Some of the bigger brands should take note!

Ordered a whole range of cushion covers - arrived separately which confused me a bit but everything was delivered within the delivery time I was told. Very beautiful and look amazing! 🤩

The quality does not match the price
I thought I was paying for quality when I spent nearly £1300 on plates.
The first batch arrived this morning and I am so disappointed with the quality. The gold work going around the plates is shoddy, they aren't branded so it seems cheap, but having paid £39.99 per plate I am shocked at what I have received. Now reading their refund policy, I have to pay shipping on 48 plates. I am actually so disappointed. The products on this website don't match the presumed quality showcased on the website. I feel duped.
EDIT: Thanks for your message below, I have emailed you and I hope this is dealt with with urgency. To clarify, I did get in touch before I posted this review.

I am happy to update that my complaint was dealt with amicably and a full refund was arranged. It was clear from my correspondence with the company that they took my concerns seriously and appreciated my disappointment. Despite our difference of opinion, I was respectfully dealt with and listened to. I am changing my rating from one star for the quality of my order to two stars to reflect my satisfaction with their customer service. Thank you.

It would have been great if you had contacted the team so that we could deal with this for you. We have not had this feedback about the product you ordered before so perhaps there has been a mistake and we would like to get it sorted out for you if there has been one made.
Please can you send over some images of the product to info@thetrouvailles.com if it is not the standard you were expecting so we can have a look?
With regard to returns, our policy is that customers need to pay for the shipping (Unless the goods are faulty) and customers agree to this when they make a purchase. As a small business, we unfortunately can't cover every unforeseen cost.
You can however use our return shipping service which is a reasonable price in comparison to Royal Mail and is insured and tracked. We do not make any profit from this service and we only charge the true cost of the shipping label that we will send to you. If you need any help with this please let us know and we will be glad to assist you further.

Would shop again
These guys stock really nice products and I'm pleased with my purchase. Had a bit of an issue with the delivery being later than anticipated (they're very upfront with timescales) and one item not looking quite as advertised but a replacement was sent out really quickly and customer service was excellent throughout.

Lies and no items
If I could give lower stars I would! The place is a complete scam! I ordered items almost 2 months ago and I’m yet to get my items or get the issue resolved. Every time I message they just outright lie every single time. It’s such a shame because I love the stuff on their site and had loads I wanted to order but now I would literally never go near the place again!

I am very sorry that you feel that we are a scam, but I can assure you this is not the case. You have been provided with a tracking number for your order and you can verify the information that we have provided yourself if you would like to. We have emailed the tracking code to you again for the ease in case you can't locate the original shipping confirmation email.
I appreciate that you are frustrated however we are very transparent with our shipping times and we display these on each product page directly next to the 'add to cart button'. We also detail them further and provide information on our supply chain in our FAQs and other policy pages to which you confirmed that you have read and understood before you checked out and completed your purchase.
Your order is still within the delivery lead time in our policy but if it is not delivered inside of this time we will of course refund you as we would with any customer. To publicly suggest that we have lied to you at any stage or that we are scamming you because it has not yet been delivered is an unfair representation of the situation. For a small business, this is exceptionally damaging for us - We are always happy to hear feedback and also criticism but feedback should be honest. Regardless of this, I have requested a refund to be given anyway as a goodwill gesture.

They don’t do full refunds
It took almost three weeks for my order to arrive and when it did, the glassware was of poor quality compared to the online pictures. When I returned them for a refund, I was told it was company policy to only refund 80% of the value of the order.

The issue with the refund was a mistake by one of our customer service agents and should only apply when a customer has excessively handled the items before returning them. The balance of your order has been refunded as discussed. It's unfortunate that you left this review before we could respond but that is OK and is your right to do so.
With regard to the delivery time, this is communicated very clearly on our website and your order arrived within this time. It's shown directly next to the add to cart button on every product page and broken down in our FAQs and policy pages.

The glassware I ordered from The Trouvailles was gorgeous and I'm really impressed with the quality. After an issue with my order, customer service were super helpful and went above and beyond to rectify the issue. I'll definitely be buying more in the future!

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review although we are disappointed with this response as your order has arrived within the delivery timeframe that we communicate on our website.
The tracking number associated with your order is from the Royal Mail and is being reported as having been delivered today (24/11). I'm not sure if you have left this review from a different address to the shipping address and may not know that the item has arrived? If this is an error in the tracking and the item has not been delivered please email us as info@thetrouvailles.com.
We understand that the delivery time of 10 business days may be too long for you and we appreciate that every customer is different. However, we are very clear and transparent with our processing and delivery times and we list this information on every product page, in the FAQs and within our shipping policy and customers must 'agree' to these terms when making a purchase by ticking a checkbox which is deselected by default.
For future reference, our delivery time to the UK is 7-15 business days from dispatch (2-3 business days) although it can take up to 30 business days.
We never want our customers to be disappointed, so if you do choose to shop with us again, we would love the ability to fix any issues for you, before you feel it is necessary to leave such a rating.
