The fruit is all top quality, great produce. Deliveries have always been spot on, as has customer service. They even leave a chew for our dog which is above and beyond!

High quality fruit and vegetables delivered for free.
With personal service it is a great and easy way to buy fruit and vegetables.

I ordered the fruit box and selected satsumas, red apples, a grapefruit, pears, lemons, plums and bananas. I've been reasonably making my way through them this past week and they have not showed signs of spoiling (stored at room temperature) I think it is worth noting how fresh and unbruised the bananas were !
I also got a box of free range eggs. As someone who loves a fried egg in the morning I have been struggling during lockdown - I find supermarket eggs have dramatically decreased in quality. These eggs were lovely !

I’ve been shopping with the Very Green Grocer since the beginning and with their commitment to fresh British produce they have challenged me to shop and cook seasonally. I have tried so many vegetables that you normally won’t find in a supermarket. I also love the fact that they are plastic free!

Its been a while since I’ve been in a position to order again from The Very Green Grocer but of course I already knew I wouldn’t be disappointed with the latest delivery of obviously fresh fruit & veg that I’d picked to the preferences of my family and I.

Im not quite sure this company can ever do wrong. We’ve never had a missed item.
This family business could certainly give supermarket deliveries a run for their money.
Have been a regular customer for going on two years now and every aspect from the selection of your produce to the ordering process and right up until the contactless non disturbing delivery which the majority of the time occurs between 0600-0800 even though they advertise that they deliver between 0600-1400.

Most importantly the produce is so fresh it lasts for ages, if you’re like my family were; fed up of the passable fruit & veg offerings of supermarkets with produce that would barely last a day or two, try out TVGG.

I’ve recommended a few local people to this company and all haven’t been disappointed at all. I for one will continue to order as it works out much better value when you equate the full package together especially in how long lasting the quality and freshness of the produce is aswell as how the offerings vary throughout the year as they are concise in how they source the very best fruit & veg offerings during the various months of the year for the utmost quality.

The fruit and veg are packed using cardboard and brown paper. They are really fresh and of a high quality and last much longer than those from supermarkets.. I highly recommend this reliable family run company.
