**Over $5,000 paid, with little ongoing work to show for it**

We hired Webnova to build and support our website. We were charged approximately $3,000 for a five-year domain/website arrangement, with the promise that SEO work would be performed. Altogether, we paid more than $5,000 for several services.

After roughly a year and a half, we discovered that important webpages had not even been properly submitted to or indexed through Google Search Console. From what we could determine, the company designed the website quickly and then provided little meaningful maintenance or SEO work afterward.

Our salesperson, who introduced himself as Oscar, periodically contacted me to sell additional services. After I repeatedly explained that I could not afford to spend more, he threatened to shut down our website. I escalated the issue to a manager who introduced himself as Alan. He initially listened and apologized, but the conversation ultimately turned into another attempt to sell me additional services.

Based on our experience, we feel seriously misled about what we were purchasing and what services would actually be delivered. Anyone considering this company should demand a detailed written contract, itemized pricing, proof of completed SEO work, full ownership and control of the domain, and independent access to the website, hosting account, and Google Search Console before making payment.

We are documenting our experience and considering filing complaints with the appropriate consumer-protection agencies and the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3).

Zero stars if I could! They took $1500 to start up, charged more for our “logo” design which I could have made myself! Threatened to shut down our website for not paying them for trademark protection. We went through the government and received our trademark and it wasn’t some outrageous price. Now they actually shut our site down due to SSL certificates they said we needed to pay them to have our site secured. All lies just to get money. We are done paying for anything else. We have 3 years of VPS Hosting that was paid in full. Oliver calls & pretends he is someone else. He uses some kind of voice app. I have NEVER EXPERIENCED SUCH CHAOS! They are rude, they lie about their identity, they say we never paid a dime and “Oliver" (in voice app voice, literally blamed Oliver (himself) for lying to us and said they have no proof of us paying anything. WE DO! Our site is back up after being locked bc they realized I knew that what they were pulling was wrong and illegal! They need to be shut down immediately bc all they do is steal money from innocent people. Who is go-animations? An extension to the webnovas account that holds the money they steal!? They need to be prosecuted!

They don not complete the projects and gaslight you after payment. Completely avoid working with Isaac Diaz.

Do not work with these people! They are scammers! They are unprofessional, have no sense of time or progress and bit off way more than they can chew. They have played in our face so many times to the point where next steps will be taken. The amount of excuses given for the LACK of work they have done is insurmountable. This project has been underway for a year and half and they are STILL not done. Patience has been ram through. If you work with them even after this review… DOCUMENT EVERYTHING!

Do not waste your money on this sorry excuse of a business.

They promised a professional website, which was alright, but they were always giving me different charges to keep the website running. I spent over $2000 with all extra charges when I thought it would be $600 initially. I would find another company and make sure you get all the fees for running your website upfront.

They are scammers!
I paid them thousands of dollars for a website, for a server for 5 years and for marketing and received nothing except a Word Press site that my grandson could have done!
Every phone call for corrections turned into an upsale for more money.
They then shut my site off and told me I have to pay them another $3500 to become ADA compliant.
When I told them they can shut my site down and I went the login info to the server I paid 5 years in advance for I was told that I had to become ADA compliant before they could allow me access to the server, even though the website would become non existent!
Do not!!! Do Not do business with these scammers!

FAKE COMPANY!! They scammed me over 2000. BEWARE! They kept promising a refund and kept saying it would be refunded, then it is processing, then system error. Do not wait for them go straight to your credit card company and dispute it before your time frame to file a dispute is over. GO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! They are scammers! 2000 lost!

!!!BEWARE!!! The good reviews are fake! Scammers. Never completed my site and had difficulty understanding simple requests and completing. They would persistently try to sell me upgrades. Website was never completed. Promised a refund that never happened. Repeatedly lied about “money was already sent back to me”. Then it was supposedly merchant trouble and unable to refund me electronically. Next, it was a check in the mail after they tried to convince me to give them my banking info. Also, the business address is a shipping store they use for a PO Box; not an actual location. Scammers who reside in another country pretending to be based in San Francisco. Steve, Peter, …all liars and con artists. They are very clever! I checked reviews before paying them but did not look closely to see they were fake and missed the negative ones. Look them up on BBB - failing score and complaints. You’ve been warned! $650 lesson learned.

Rude and Obnoxious - held me to ransom for more money due to delays at my end that couldn't control. Granted delay was excessive however they called, accused me of being non conformative and slapped an extra $300 charge saying if its not paid today they'll cancel project. I said I need a week and they literally declined. "its today or ***".

Oliver, Nathan & Ben - every single one of them at some point have been rude. Don't buy the dodgy accents either.

unfortunately, I was wrong about these Guys. They charged me thousands of dollars to build a website and I went with them for 5 years of hosting, after 1 year they said if I don't pay another $1100 for security features everything will be cut off. All of the reviews you see here are fake - this company is an absolute scam and will rip you off any way that they can.

They didn't complete the work and put advertisements on my website which I asked them multiple times to remove and they never did. They also tried to sell me on hosting package and wouldn't complete my website until I bought it.

WARNING! This company is a SCAM!

This company which is not a registered, legal company or entity goes by many different names which is super sketchy. They also go by Creative Design Legend as well as many others. They have no registered agent in any state which means they technically cannot do business outside of California. If anywhere at all. Their address is fake and the multiple telephone numbers they use constantly change and cannot be traced. RED FLAG!

I was also warned by other ACTUAL design companies not to work with them. They harass and force people to write 5 star reviews before completing or even starting on your “project” or they use it as leverage against you unit you give them an outstanding review. It’s exactly what they did to me. It was an awful experience from the get go. My company was supposed to launch April 2022. I had to postpone until May of 2023 because nothing was ever completed on their end. No social media, no working websites, and no SEO. I lost over $300,000 in potential profit because of it. To make it worse I had to finally hire another legitimate website/media design company to do complete everything and it was a fraction of the cost (they completed it all in two weeks!) when I asked for them to transfer the domain name (which I own and paid for) to my current web designer they wouldn’t transfer it until I paid them another $2,000. So these five star reviews are not legit.

Needless to say I should have listened and actually done my research, that’s on me and an expensive lesson to learn. They stole and scammed me out of $20,000 to complete my website, e-commerce payment platform, social media management and a “guaranteed S.E.O, with absolutely NOTHING to show for it. This is all in a matter of 10 months! A complete waste of time.

I worked with Oliver, Mark, Fred as well as others. I had to follow up with them on the daily. All they’re good at is asking for money, and then make you wire the money to a holding company so you can’t contest it or report it to your bank. Which tells me they know exactly what they’re doing and they do it very well, scam and cheat people.

They have been reported to the FBI and Attorney General and are being investigated in multi states including Illinois, California and Wisconsin. Probably without their knowledge.

Please learn from my mistake. Do your research, ask questions and never pay for anything upfront or incomplete. I’ve learned it’s not the way this industry works.

Actually, the website they designed and the logo created were all excellent. However, I have a real problem with the unwritten fees they hit you with. I was told by their salesman that they were a “one stop shop,” meaning they would take it from concept to launch for one all-in fee. A couple weeks after signing the deal, I was pressured into buying a “registration package.” They said that I needed to invest in this registration service or my site would just flounder on the web and not be correctly placed strategically in the search engines. This was to the tune of $3,000 to get this added to my account. Let’s jump forward to site completion. I signed off on the site deliverable and, was again, hit with an unexpected fee for hosting. They were asking for another $2,300 to host the site or the site would never see the light of day. What happened to the one stop shop business model? I think the approach to pricing the service is broken and the all-in mentality needs to prevail. I don’t have the additional $2,300 to host so my $1,000 web service investment appears to be for not. I’m so frustrated and disappointed I don’t know how to change the situation.

They didn't do a good job of putting the website together, I had to do many follow ups and when i submitted a review they asked me to bring it down and then they delivered something that was not complete. I just had to hire someone else to finish the site and publish it.

Harassing me. Calling me over and over after saying I’m not interested. Blocked them and they just keep calling from different numbers
