A Hidden Gem
Someone else said 'What a find'. How right they were. Certainly a hidden gem.
I belong to a wine tasting group and for some time I have wanted to do just German wines, however I found the choice very limited - Riesling, Riesling or Riesling. Then I came across the Wine Barn. They were so informative and helpful. I gave them my budget and they selected an eclectic list with grapes, some of which I hadn't heard of. They even put them in order of drinking for me. Delivery was spot on when I wanted them and the tasting went with a bang. NOT one wine was not liked. Absolutely FANTASTIC.
Thank you Angi & Iris for making the evening a hit.

Wines arrived promptly, but ditch the plastic please!
Wines arrived promptly. I have taken off 1 star for the inflatable plastic packaging - it's a pain to deal with and, though it may be recyclable, much of it will probably end up in landfill. It's bulky and has to go to a supermarket for recycling - and my local big supermarket doesn't accommodate anything this bulky. Cardboard packaging works well and is much more straightforward to recycle.

Heather, it is a shame that you feel that have to down-rate us because of the something that we have no control over. Our bond re-packs every mixed case into these air-vac shapes. These ensure safe delivery to our customers without any breakages. These can also be recycled as part your bi-weekly recycling collection. I am also happy to establish a connection with the bond where you can exchange ideas for better solutions.
A great place to explore the world of German wine
What a find The Wine Barn is. We were keen to explore more German wines after a recent trip to Germany and The Wine Barn was the perfect place to do so - a great selection of wines and a personal touch from Iris. The Kranz Cab & Pinot Rosé and Schneider 2024 Grauburgunder Halbstück are particular favourites.

Best 0% White wine I've tasted
The Riesling I ordered arrived safely and on time. The wine is by far the best 0% white wine I've tasted so far. For me the wine tastes best with food, and has a pleasant, light flavour, not too sweet.
