Iris and her team, without doubt, have the best selection of German wines in the UK. I attended WineBarn’s annual wine tasting event in London this year, on 3rd February and it was fantastic to meet so many German wine producers who had flown in specially for the event. The staff are very knowledgeable and the service is always quick and friendly. I am a huge fan!

Review for 2025 February Annual Portfolio event in London.

Venue was brilliant and whole experience was phenomenal. I came across the event by chance and how fitting, having read lots about German wine/German Riesling the months before (and now still).

Winemakers were all very friendly, enthusiastic and eager to share their knowledge of each wine, site and various winemaking techniques. One of the best tastings I have ever been to (touch biased for the impeccable Rieslings) and I really look forward to the next event(s).

I tried the alcohol free save water drink Riesling at The Gurnards Head in Cornwall - best alcohol free wine I have tried. The Wine Barn seemed to be the only place that sold it, I’ve bought 6 bottles and it was delivered within 3 days, top service.

Great Advice, really interesting selection of wines, most of them hard to find anywhere else in the UK. Ordering, transit and delivery were all really straightforward. Looking forward to working my way through the wines and ordering some more!

If you're a fan of Riesling then this is an excellent place to shop. But they also have some superb wines from less 'typically German' grapes - like Chardonnay and Sauv B.
Reds are also superb - I've had some great bottles of Lemberger (Blaufrankisch) and Pinot Noir from WB.

Absolutely delicious wines! Completely changed my views on German wines. Highly recommend you try any of the varied selection they keep. The customer service is also excellent from a friendly, hugely knowledgeable team.
