Think Free Solar Avis

Excellent service by an excellent team
Many thanks

Simply outstanding service, Daryl arrived at the agreed time, explained everything very clearly, discussed with me my requirements and then suggested solutions and agreed what we needed all with no pressure and a very friendly approach. We decided to get an extra battery and change our EV charger which was definitely the way forward. The installation by Jeff and the team was first rate and everything was installed to a very high standard, everyone worked constantly, fitting the full system well withing the agreed time frame. It is clear that attention to detail is high on the list for all the staff and the site was left very clean and tidy. Jeff set up the phone apps I need to monitor the system explaining in detail all the info I needed to know. The office staff are very efficient and the fact they complete all the relevant paper work for all concerned is a god send. Jeff is always on the end of the phone for any assistance no matter how small the question. On the day Jeff kindly put the drone up taking pictures of my property and the installation and sent them to me instantly. All in all this is a very friendly company that are passionate about what they taking great pride in the work they carry out. 100% recommend them, I wouldn't look anywhere else.

Quick response to contact with the company followed by site visit within a few days. This meeting covered everything to do with installation of solar panels, batteries and EV charging point. All my questions were answered clearly and well. Good rapport established.Follow up was excellent including a visit to choose location of batteries, EV charger etc which prioritised meeting my needs and wishes. Installation complete in less than 2 weeks from first contact, scaffolding erected and removed in one day. A follow up visit, in the 2 week window, sorted out apps for me and did all communication with eletricity company. Each of the contractors was personable and professional in every respect. Office staff communicated really well and in harmony with the team of installers.

Honestly can’t fault Free solar with any aspect of the service. I’d had that mainly quotes I was confused and worried about the right products and companies. So glad I went with them. Geoff and Ben were just amazing in the day, kind, courteous, experienced and so tidy but most of all genuinely cared about the service at fitting as did the whole team. Daryl was so patient providing honest and transparent guidance and information re the products. Honestly I am a nightmare customer normally as I don’t trust salesmen but hand in heart if you are even thinking about solar products then you must go with Free solar.

Our system has been installed over 6 months now and wow what a system, it’s amazing it’s over achieving by over 50% of what was quoted, even when it’s been the wettest dullest winter we have still been able to generate kWh and even on some days we over produce and sell back to the grid. Daryl and the team are fantastic, and couldn’t be more helpful!! 100% recommend this company and happy to talk to any person needing more information. We had other quotes but this company outshone everyone! Thank you Daryl and team.

What can I say apart from a brilliant service everything went very smothley dinent feel pressured to buy couldn’t wished for better staff 👍

The whole of the company from the partners, the office staff and the installation team ,were polite, approachable and well informed about about their products. They kept us informed of any changes promptly. We would recommend this company to anyone thinking of installing solar.

Think free solar. 9.kwh battery installed at a very competitive price. Great team very friendly and pleasant professionals.
Thay explain everything regarding the installation. Even go my a £50 referral fee for moving my energy account.
If you thinking of getting battery and or solar think free solar is the company for you.

Daryl has a no pressure friendly sales style and knows what he's talking about where solar is concerned. We decided to get an extra battery and an EV charger after discussing the benefits. The installation by Jeff was first rate and everything is tidy and where we wanted it. All done in 2 days including scaffolding up and down. Daryl and Danielle have set up the phone apps we need to monitor the system and will assist us moving forward. Can't wait to start selling power back to the grid. All in all this is a very friendly company that are passionate about what they do and doing it right. Highly recommend.

I have just had my install from think free solar. The staff at think free solar have all been very professional from setting out the system best for my property to install and now the after care. They really do go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied and have a functional system. Theres a reason for the good reviews on here. I personally trusted the staff at think free solar to carry out the work at my house with with nobody at home they kept the place as tidy as possible considering the work needing to be done. So to anybody reading this and considering solar and batteries I am highly recommending think free solar as a honest business who are trustworthy and take good care of the customer's that choose a install with them .

Thanks again to think free solar from Joe and sophie

Been absolutely fantastic! They really care about their customers.

Had a horrible experience with a previous solar panel provider. Think Free Solar came in and gutted the previous fire hazard, put in a new system, explained how everything worked and helped set up tariffs with the energy supplier. They were open, honest, answered all questions and are contactable. They’re certified, have pride in their work and care about helping their customers get the best experience out of their products. I can’t thank them enough!

Daryl and the team have done a fab job getting our preexisting system back up and running in our new house. Great service on the day and excellent aftercare.

All the team at Think Free Solar have been great. Daryl and Danielle have kept is informed throughout the whole process. The install team we amazing despite the terrible weather they remained upbeat, professional and very friendly. Would recommend.

Fantastic service from design to installation, if you are considering having solar panels fitted I definitely recommend Think Free Solar.
We had 18 x 480w panels and 3 x 10kw battery storage and it was all installed and commissioned in 1 day.

An excellent company from start to finish. They have been very professional and communicative throughout. We were fully aware of the specification and what to expect from the start, with no hidden surprises.

Fantastic install, the whole team were polite, treated the property with respect and left everything neat and tidy. At the end of the install day they ensured we were fully aware of how to use the system. Now we can't stop watching the app to see how much electricity we are making. Thank you Think Free Solar for being such a great company. We are really looking forward to seeing how much we will save in the future!

We had a battery and solars installed, WOW what a difference this has made, only spent £55 on electricity for the whole of 2025!!!
I’d recommend Think Free Solar they were really good and did everything they said they’d do!

The whole process from consultation to installation cannot be faulted. The products and their benefits were explained with clarity so I was under no illusions as to what the payback period would be.
I am very thorough in making decisions of this nature and I was provided with everything I needed to make an informed and balanced decision before committing to Think Free.
The installers were a great friendly bunch of lads who got on with their work before explaining fully how to use and maximise the system post installation.
A great team. Thank you.

The Think Free Solar team have just been back out to install a solar-compatible EV charger at our office, allowing us to take full advantage of charging our vehicles whether we’re at home or at work.
As with the original solar and battery installs, the work was carried out to a very high standard. The team arrived on time, communicated clearly throughout, and did an excellent, tidy job — despite working in sub-zero temperatures with snow on the ground.
The charger is now fully integrated with our solar setup, giving us maximum flexibility and ensuring we’re making the best possible use of the energy we generate. It’s another example of how Think Free Solar don’t just install equipment, but think about the whole system and long-term performance.
Once again, a professional, reliable, and knowledgeable team. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Think Free Solar for solar, batteries, or EV charging.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommend Think Free Solar

We had solar and battery systems installed by Think Free Solar at both our home and our office, and the performance has genuinely exceeded expectations.

Before going solar, our home energy and fuel costs were around £750 per month, with the office adding a further £200 per month. Since the systems were installed, those costs have been largely eliminated. We’ve also replaced two fossil-fuel cars with an electric van, which is now mostly powered by our own solar, allowing us to use the energy we generate rather than exporting it at low rates.

Using real billing data, the systems are now saving us £7,500–£8,500 per year, giving a realistic return on investment of around 4–5 years. Over a 15-year period, that equates to well over £100,000 saved — money that would otherwise have gone to energy companies.

The team at Think Free Solar have been excellent throughout: knowledgeable, straightforward, and clearly focused on delivering systems that perform in the real world. Both installs are working exactly as intended, even through the winter months.

A genuinely great investment — highly recommended.

Think Free Solar are always very friendly and helpful in getting right energy deals for there customers and getting round the complicated infrastructure of the energy system.
