Thruxton Circuit Avis 

Well, I think thruxton is a great circuit,great staff very helpful, my son has a track day driving experience in three different cars very much enjoyed it, but what I will say when it was pouring down of rain there’s not a lot of cover for when you wanna watch what’s going on and a lot of people were soaking wet watching family and friends participate.

My instructor Wil in the Aston Martin really got the best out of me and noted on my scorecard 117mph in the rain. He also showed me the incredible torque in the engine. A drive day at Thruxton is always so well organised and the experience is such a pleasure.

absolutely brilliant. Tiff was easy to talk to. superb knowledge and amazing handling of the vehicle. felt safe at all times. also seemed really interested in me as a member of the general public.

Well organised, good fun. Very good tuition from the instructors. All other experiences I done put cones in the middle to slow you down they put cones as markers to make you faster

I signed up for the three car passenger ride.

The rides themselves were enjoyable (particularly the Porsche Cayman on a wet track) although having only two laps felt too short (one out lap and one in lap).

Before and between rides, the experience was poor. After registration, I was directed to signpost outside. No-one collected me so after 15 mins (in the rain) I returned to the registration desk. I was redirected this time to a large shed to speak to an individual. The shed was empty and again I returned to the registration desk. This time, I was lead outside to find the individual who would co-ordinate my experience. The first ride was then organised promptly, however the other two rides needed to be arranged when the relevant car became available; these cars being used primarily for driving experiences. So I had to wait in the shed (I did have a seat but was surrounded by clutter) until these cars randomly became available. The individual coordinating my experience was personable and apologetic for the wait times but the experience made me feel like a second class citizen (the priority being those on the driving experience).

I total, doing six laps in three cars took over two hours.

Had a track drive experience with Tiff Needell it was epic and very enjoyable

It was a fun experience and all of the staff were great particularly the drivers and pit crew. A great day out for both the participants and those watching.

Had a great day amazing cars to drive and very professional driving instructor's giving advice to give you a great drive. restaurant good choice of food quite expensive only down side my driving experience was at 8-30 got email to say arrive 20 minutes early brought my wife who has dementia and after driving 2 hours to get to Thruxton she needed disabled toilets but complex didn't open until 8am

The day was really good instructor was fantastic.

Had a Formula Reanult experience, briefing was informative and didn't drag on longer than needed. Had some laps to learn the track as a passenger and driving one of the Alpines. Great car to drive, then got let loose in the formula Reanult, very fun to drive and very analogue, unfortunately had a big rain shower so got called in early, but credit to the staff in letting up start our 5 laps again meaning we had more than expected. Only real criticism is it wasn't always clear where we needed to be once in the pits as the staff were all busy getting cars in and out safely.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Thruxton for my ARDS course and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better day.

From start to finish, everything ran incredibly smoothly. The briefing and explanations were clear, professional and very easy to understand, and the whole course felt extremely well organised. The hospitality was excellent too — tea, coffee, doughnuts and food were provided, and the café and facilities were great.

A special thank you has to go to my instructor, Dave. He was incredibly kind, helpful and professional throughout the day. I was quite stressed at the beginning because getting my racing licence was extremely important to me, but Dave was very reassuring and quickly made me feel much more relaxed and confident. His calm approach and clear instruction made a huge difference and allowed me to concentrate on my driving and enjoy the experience.

Passing my ARDS course was a very special moment for me, and I couldn’t have asked for a better place or instructor to do it with.

Huge thank you to Dave and everyone at Thruxton for making the whole experience so enjoyable and memorable. I would absolutely recommend Thruxton to anyone considering doing their ARDS course there.

Great day out. A real buzz driving hard around the circuit and the instructors gave me confidence when pushing on.
It was all over too quick

An excellent experience and day out. Initially seemed expensive, but the extras, included insurance and staff expertise actually makes it good value for money.

Enjoyable One to One session driving the Cayman. Our instructor was very friendly and encouraging.
