The company's price for what I needed was competitive, and it was great to be able to get it delivered.
The delivery man took care to lay down some scrap wood to put the boards on, so no damage was done when he stacked them down the side of the house.

Lovely timber and people
They could not have been more helpful. I was only buying one offcut of timber, but they went out of their way to arrange it. Quick delivery, and I now have a very handsome shelf.

No communication and lies
Order placed with a delivery costing extra for that day. Items were fairly basic. No communication at all apart from acceptance of the order and the money taken.
I phoned on the day of delivery to find that most of items were on back order and would be delivered this week. Cancelled the order but no confirmation. Phoned the next day and insisted on an email being to confirm cancellation.
10 working days later but still no refund. Phoned to be told refund had been provided so asked for ARN to be sent so I could ask for tracking from my credit card company.
Had a promised phone call to be told the refund had been issued previously.
Unsurprisingly the money appeared on my credit card as pending and they told me it had been issued that day.
I’m sure the timber is great quality but the communication is appalling, even then I may have still gone back. However the outright lies shows there is something wrong inside the company.

Good product but bad communication
Good - The material that was delivered was exactly what had been ordered.
Bad - when ordering I was told 3-5 days lead time. In the end it was almost 1 month and I had to chase what what going on, as opposed to being updated.
