As someone completely new to Makaton, I found the workshop a wonderful and enriching learning experience. It was amazing to see how much we could learn in just one day and how Makaton can make communication more accessible, meaningful and inclusive.

Natasha was absolutely amazing as a tutor. She was warm, patient, encouraging and engaging, making the learning experience enjoyable and easy to follow. Her passion for Makaton really shone through, and she created a lovely environment where everyone could learn with confidence.

I came away feeling inspired and excited to put my learning into practice, especially in my work with children who have different communication needs.

Natasha was fantastic at introducing Makaton and clearly explaining how signs can be used alongside communication in early years settings. I had previously completed some Makaton training many years ago, so it was lovely to revisit what I had learned and explore a wider range of signs that I can now use with the children in my setting. This was a really good introduction to Makaton. We learned so many signs over two morning worshops , with a tutor who was very professional, but also put everyone at ease and helped us all to relax and learn together in a fun, unthreatening environment.

I completed my Level 3 training with Tasha on 19th September. The day flew by and it was all down to her. She made everyone feel welcome and comfortable and was very supportive. Natasha was welcoming and knowledgeable about makaton it was an easy course to follow and I can only recommend it for anyone.

Tasha is a truly fantastic tutor, her personal experiences of being a SEN mum shine through and you can see her passion throughout. Tasha is naturally very kind and never made you feel bad if you didn’t get the signs straight away. She was very knowledgable in everything surrounding Makaton and the stories behind some of the signs. She also managed to keep the course engaging throughout which was especially good for me. I will definitely be doing Level 2 with Tasha. Thank you!!!

Who knew a full day of online training could whizz by so quickly?!

I completed the Makaton Level 1 course with Tasha and genuinely loved it. Tasha was an absolutely fantastic tutor – welcoming, enthusiastic and encouraging from the very beginning. She made the whole day incredibly engaging and enjoyable.

She took the time to make sure everyone understood and felt confident before moving on, and was always more than happy to repeat or demonstrate something again when needed. Her enthusiasm was infectious – it would have been impossible to finish the day without feeling motivated and excited to put what we had learned into practice.

I came away feeling far confident and ready to unleash my Makaton on the world! In fact, I enjoyed Level 1 so much that I’ve already signed up for Level 2 with Tasha – which probably says it all!

I would absolutely recommend the course (and this tutor!) to anyone considering learning Makaton. Thank you, Tasha!

I really enjoyed completing the Level 1 Makaton course this weekend. The whole session was really fun, engaging and informative, and I came away feeling like I’d learnt so much.

Tasha was a fantastic tutor, she was incredibly engaging, friendly and made the whole session enjoyable. She created such a relaxed atmosphere, which made it really easy to get involved and have a go, while still making sure we covered everything we needed to learn.

I had a fantastic time on Tasha’s course for Level 1. I've come away feeling so much more confident about Makaton and putting it into practice next time I see the young people at my theatre groups.

I have attended Level 1 and Level 2 training with Natasha and am excited to book more.
She made all the participants feel at ease, recapping signs from previous sessions and introducing new signs with memorable rhymes or stories, making the learning feel so natural.
Her genuine love for making communication accessible to all shines through and makes her training sessions enjoyable and a joy to take part in.

Just finished my Level 1 Makaton with Tasha. I was a little apprehensive at first having no previous experience with Makaton, but Tasha absolutely smashed it making it such a positive and safe environment where I felt totally comfortable to make mistakes and ask for help. She was an amazing teacher and I'm really surprised with how much I learned in such a short time span. Cannot recommend enough! Thank you!

I have never used Makaton before and by the end of a day’s training Tasha had me fluently signing sentences of varying lengths. Tasha was so insightful to the needs of the children who would need to use Makaton. She was so clear and positive with her interactions with us, and I really, REALLY, enjoyed a training course… you don’t often get to say that in school training courses! If I ever need further Makaton training, I wouldn’t go anywhere else for it… Tasha was AMAZING

I have attended level 1 and the Learning Disability specific workshops hosted by Natasha and due to go on Level 2-4. Natasha workshops provide amazing knowledge of the signs and lots of opportunity for interactive activities. Natasha makes you feel at ease and really helps you understand not only the signs and what Makaton is, but the reason why we use it.
