Everyone I worked with was very professional. They worked with me on my down payment and monthly payments so that I could afford the service. Would be nice if total tax had a website that their clients could access to upload documents, check on the status of their file and maybe make additional payments. Overall Total Tax took a lot of stress out of my life and would recommend them to friends and family.

I used to be "that guy" that did his own taxes online, follow the forms, answer the questions, enter the data and seemed to be happy. My tax situation changed in 2020, so I decided to use Total Tax due word of mouth on their great reputation in the community - "buy local".Dealing with ***** in the tax prep process was amazing: - she found some issues where my new wife had been filing incorrectly for approximately 15 years before we got married; we also amended her last 3 years to the tune of an approx $10,000 "new" refund.- I had just left a company and ***** was able to provide information to help me better decide how to handle the 401k balance of the company I just left from.- I started a consulting company and ***** was able to provide information on how to best handle that income and withholdings.The icing on the cake: it cost me LESS money to have a local tax professional prepare my returns (with very quick turn around times) than it did to do the taxes myself through an "online" tax service with very little support!I could not be happier with Total Tax.

I am very unhappy with how my account has been handled. Horrible communication, direction and no collaboration- the sales job was outstanding….I was sold I would have a team, we would be meeting monthly and discussing my case in detail prior to any negotiation. Mark- I think you and I have spoken once over the phone for about 10 min. It's been 1 year and no communication.

I will not be using this firm next year and I want my 5K back based on false advertising
