Tradein Avis 

I have always found Tradein to be A1 when it comes to the giving the best price for recycling my items. They received my phone for recycling today and the money was in my bank by 6pm . I can’t fault them for the great service they give with regard to the best price they offer for items and quickness in sending payments .

No problem all went well

Sent off my item and the received it two days ago, (Monday) and in the third day (Wednesday) they had accepted my item and the email came saying money being paid into the bank. Within 1.5 hours the money was in my account.
Plain sailing all the way along… highly recommend this site :)

The second time I have used TradeIn and they didn’t disappoint! I was offered £210 for my iPhone 13 and within a few days, the money was in my account. The offer is was better than those you get from retail stores. I 100% recommend TradeIn.

Think it through before you post your phone to them. Was given a price of £290 for my iphone 14pro which is in near immaculate condition. No comms after posting it to them for 3 days. Follow up with a phone call to be told it's in "poor condition" and offered £175, which is total BS ! Then I have to arrange to get it sent back to me as I'm not going to ripped by them. Total time waste and cost me £12, with all the postage costs involved. It's a business model that a lot of these companies use and they are just ripping people off as will be many who just can't be bothered with the hassle of having the phone returned.

I’m so surprised by the service provided by this company. I send my camera over the weekend and within in 50 hours I’ve had the money hit my account. This is by far the fastest and most convenient way to trade in your goods. The price I received for my goods was 50% more than CEX too. Would recommend.

I really wanted to have a good experience with this company, but unfortunately, it’s been a total nightmare. I traded in my device last August, and almost a year later, still no payment

Royal Mail lost the parcel on its way to them. Because Tradein provided the prepaid shipping label and box, Royal Mail has explicitly stated (in multiple emails) that Trade In has to be the one to claim for the lost package, not me.

I’ve passed this info on to the customer service so many times, but they just keep passing the buck and telling me that I'm the one who needs to make the claim. It’s impossible to do that when Royal Mail won't let me!
So now I’m stuck in the middle with no device and no money, and customer service just feels like a brick wall. It’s been incredibly stressful and disappointing. I really wouldn't recommend using them—if anything goes wrong in the post, you're completely on your own.
Honestly, fed up with their customer service to the point i have now accepted the loss, especially since they also called me a scammer when I left a not-friendly review.

Great experience, Royal Mail picked my parcel from me with the return label and made this so much easier, the process was smooth and very quick payment and it was the same amount as quoted. Very Happy.

I sent my device to this company as part of a trade‑in agreement. They have kept my goods and refused to return them or pay me what they promised. They also ignored multiple attempts to resolve the matter.

Only after I identified the company (Gadgets Recycle LTD) and director did they respond, but they still refused to return my property or pay what is owed.

I have now submitted a Trading Standards referral and I am proceeding to serve them with court action.

Based on my experience, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Also be careful they trade under various different websites and names. Tradein.co.uk, Techmarket.co.uk to name a few.

Really impressed, easy to organise the sale and arrange postage and the money in my account within 4 days of despatch, no quibbles at all.

Process of trading in my Beats Studio Pro headphones went well. 5 days from doing inline submission and getting postage label to getting the payment direct into bank account. All went well.

Couldn’t have been easier!
Simply packed two iphones in box and took it to the post office. The cashier read the QR code on the email I had received, stuck on the label and that was it! The money has just arrived in my account.
Checked with another company I have used before and they offered slightly less than Tradein
