Really easy to use

Really easy to use, just a few details and they give you the company options you choose which one you use and they contact them. So simple and the companies I use all contacted me within a couple of days to say they would change my address. Brilliant. Definitely would recommend to anyone to use.

Initially easy to use, but it has major problems and no support.

At first it looked good and easy to use. I set up my home move. After 2 weeks, the status of every transfer (Gas, Electric, Water, Council Tax) show 0 out of 6 updates. But I deduce that some things have been actioned, but not all (eg I received a mail from the new water provider). The system did not tell me I cannot use the same energy supplier at the new address, and it sent the wrong move date to the current water supplier. I asked for support using the online chat, but it said "We are offline, we'll get back to you". Its now been a week with no response. I've had to call each of the suppliers directly, so using their system has caused me more work than doing it myself.

Thank you for review, firstly I must offer my apologies for the experience you received. We pride ourselves on customer service & am very disappointed to hear this. To address your points in order: The progress of each transfer (Whether completed or not) is tagged against 'Confirm' buttons within emails we send to suppliers, often these are not clicked. But this doesn't mean that things aren't actioned. Mostly suppliers action our move requests & send your correspondence when they can, according to your transfer most of your suppliers should have done so. During the energy choice, it is possible to attempt to remain with your existing energy supplier at your new address, but this is not guaranteed as your existing account will have to be closed & a new one created. The government advice is to remain with the new supplier during this energy crisis. Moving dates are added solely by the customer, meaning that only the moving dates entered by the customer are ever sent out to suppliers - In this case you entered 10/03/23 for both move-out & move-in. The live chat asks you to provide your email address so we can get back to you, which we didn't receive so we could not do so. However we do have a Contact Us page on our website which includes our phone number and email address which could have been used.

Once again I sincerely apologise for your experience & we will strive to improve off the back of this review.

Done what it said it would do!

Done what it said it would do with ease, in a matter of a day I was approached by the companies supplying my bills saved me a job so thank you! Good free service and very efficient.

Don’t cover majority of companies

Most of the companies i thought TMB would contact, require me to follow up. So what’s the point!

Thanks for your review. Can I start by extending an apology for your experience with us. Upon checking your transfer I can see that 4 out of 9 suppliers should have been notified automatically, some of which may have required a meter reading. Whilst this does leave 5 out of 9 that we cannot automatically notify, we do provide the exact contact methods on the quickest ways to do this with these companies. 3 of out these 5 were insurers, which always require direct contact from the customer due to changes in policy. Many customers do have transfers which all suppliers complete automatically, but unfortunately not every supplier offers the ability to do so. Hence why we try our best to make life easier by providing the exact methods of contact.

Once again I am deeply sorry for your experience & please note that we are building better relationships with suppliers everyday to improve the customer experience for everyone.

Above & Beyond

What made this experience great, Simple answer, Luke, to be helped in difficult times by someone I don't even know is something rarely seen. The stress of contacting everyone who needs to know im moving away like my energy supplier insurance broadband mobile HMRC DVLA NHS Council tax and even the wife all informed Luke and the transfer my bills team. Above & beyond professionalism, with a personal phone call to see if all is going well. My Mrs doesn't even do that. Luke thank you my friend.

This is a really useful service!

This is a really useful service. I was particularly impressed that it reminded me of other places I need to change my address, even though they can't do it for me - such as the DVLA. They did call me to try and sell products I don't have, but they weren't at all pushy.

I used transfer my bills to help with my house move. It was so easy, they suggested the utilities that I had already, contacted them for me and also reminded me to contact others I had not thought about like the AA and my gym. Made life easy for me. Thank you.

For some reason you had decided that I had left a tenancy when it was my own property and then we ended up with two water bills at my brother's address! Not impressed. It means I had no confidence to proceed. It would seem that you have taken no notice of my instruction to stop either...

I’d firstly like to sincerely apologise for the experience you’ve had with us. I’d like to remedy this as best as possible as we pride ourselves on excellent customer service & putting our users first. To address the first point, it was your energy company that actually asked us for this information to proceed with account closure, we simply relayed that request to you as they were refusing to proceed without it. Which is clearly incorrect as you were never a renter in the first place.

Regarding your water account issue, I can see that we did send the water company notice of your move-out & subsequent move-in. Normally water companies contact their customers to confirm such things but clearly, they just went ahead & started a new account at the new address without prior contact with yourself. Again, I can only apologise for this. Whilst we’d be happy to attempt to resolve this situation for you, I understand that this is likely not what you want. We’d still however like to make it up to you in a small way, so please check the email associated with your account today.

In time I hope that you will give our service another chance & perhaps revisit this review once we have shown to you the excellent service which has given us such a high Trustpilot rating from others.

The service is so efficient and makes moving a less stressful and avoids sitting in the phone for ages. Team are so helpful.
When inputting my info it wouldn’t allow me to put my correct moving date so nearly never submitted info. Did anyway and glad I did as a member of the team contacted with a quick response to check it was right. So it was easily amended. Thank you.
