Utterly useless app
Utterly useless app. Won't accept my passport photo, tried 20 times. Used website and didn't solve the problem. Phone call is a waste of time and of no use, sends you in a loop and then asks to send an email. My new employer wants this info ASAP. Lost the will to live or accept the job if my new employer can't even get this right.

I'm giving one star because it doesn't work
I'm giving one star because I can't give less. It has taken me several goes to get TrustID to work at all, with it crashing repeatedly. Now I'm stuck on the address because it won't accept my postcode. I have tried entering my postcode in different ways or using nearby ones, but it just won't accept it. Ironically, I already have an Enhanced DBS for another job, that was relatively easy, all I had to do was take my documents to the post office to be verified, it took half the time this has taken so far.

Faulty trust id app
I’ve been asked by my employer to use Trust ID to obtain an enhanced DBS
Iv download the app
Completed the tasks. The last task is to scan the chip on my passport.
When I’m instructed to do this the site tells me “ iv forgot to download the app”
Iv tried this 6 times
I’m not wasting anymore of my time on a faulty application.

where to start
where to start. firstly no i do not trust, Trust ID, or any other so called ID verification company or system. one i do not trust the company, i do not trust them to hold my data, my image etc. I do not trust their emplyees, and I do not want to use your system. I have never in 45 years had to prove my eliagiblity to work in the uk other than send a copy of my passport this is limiting the amount of info that one place can hold.
Secondly the system does not work if you do not have a smart phone! I do not have a smart phone. nor do i want one... EVER, they are intrusive in to life.
This compnay along with others like it are set up as another stelth tax and Data gatherer for the goverment to conssolidate your information and also to sell it off... of course they will try to plicate you by saying they do not! but lets face it they say one thing and do another!
All the positves i have noticed are from the likes of HR dept and the lion share which are negative are from users.
Have a look in to compnaies house at the directors and the amount of information they must have on people.
***in reply to your response. Firstly do you think I or anyone with any common sense trusts the goverment! Secondly you can write anything for a data policy, ethical reasoning, etc... its all just words.. all made up. Your company and all those that do what you do should not exist. As somone born in the UK who's family was born in the uk whos great great grandparents where born in the uk I should not have to prove anything. I should not have to share or take photos or give any personal details over to any company! Even the goverment do not have right to MY personal infomation or any part of my identity!

Couldn't get it to work
Couldn't get it to work, tried for 2 days always says 'check could not be initiated'. There's no need for this level of nonsense. It's just a brick-wall no explanation of what is wrong or tips to avoid just an option to restart - garbage. Shame as I'd been through 3 interviews to get that job!

Disgustingly Poor
Appalling lack of any form of customer service. The portal simply doesn't work and there is no way to speak to a real human being. An extremely stressful waste of time.
I was calling within expected hours.

The platform does what it says on the tin and offers great competitive pricing compared to alternatives. There are minor issues with the platform like user management (when someone is set to receive all org access, you cannot then edit that user if you are the same - should have super user groups that allows editing and deletion of all). Support is really great though and always quick to help resolve issues!

Trust ID has been launched without considering people of all backgrounds Its frustrating. There are no alternative options. It resembles coporate failure. A complete waste of time and rubbish. It is an embodiment of corporate failure. It does not accommodate different skins and it picks glare at all times. No alternative is provided evidencing failure and a complete waste of time.

Perfect ID checking service for small businesses
This has been the perfect way to do Right to Work checks for our staff without spending £000's on set-up and annual costs - one simple fee gives you credits to use as and when you need to.
It was easy and quick to set up too. We've been using it now for over 6 months and will continue to do so.

Tried on two separate iPads
It’s only to be a volunteer at Sunday school might not bother now don’t have this sort of spare time to waste on rubbish like this .

Easy setup
Easy setup, customer service were helpful when I reached them however phone wait time was long. Overall so far I'd recommend, we've only been using the system for a couple of months.
