My journey at Turing College has been a great one so far. It’s definitely challenging, but also incredibly rewarding. I came in with some self-taught experience in frontend development, and even with that background, the course pushed me to learn many new things and grow as a developer.

One of the things that stands out is the intensity—it can be a bit stressful at times, especially with the deadlines. However, the supportive and helpful community really makes a difference. There’s also the option to extend deadlines when needed, which is great for flexibility.

I’m balancing the program with a full-time job, which can be tough at times, but it’s definitely doable. Despite the stress, I genuinely enjoy the experience and feel like I’m moving in the right direction.

Currently, I’m in the first sprint of the specialization module. I really appreciate that it begins with job interview preparation, which aligns perfectly with my goal of landing my first professional role as a programmer.

I am learning Data Analytics. The projects here are real-world oriented which lets apply newly learned skills to real-world problems strengthening understanding of what the analyst does. Deadlines are rather good, you are also able to plan your learning time which gives a lot of flexibility. Community is goal oriented, helpful and aims to make your journey as comfortable as it can be. There is also a lot of space for your creativity, most tasks have a quite wide range where you can think yourself of how is it best to complete them.
All in all, well recommended!

I am learning Data Analytics, as far everything is clear and interesting to learn, even if you are not skilled in IT sphere you can learn easily. Tasks are informative and useful, moreover deadlines are good, if you take education seriously you can finish all the tasks way before the deadlines.

A great community with self-paced learning, offering more than enough information for non-academic (i.e. industry) pursuits. The project review process is invaluable for beginners - every project gets expert and peer feedback, making it invaluable for beginners. After all, we all end up writing code, and the goal is to write high quality code in the most practical way.

More than a College.

The way learning and everything is structured at Turing College is to help foster best talent and communities, and community being a key word here. Everyone is encouraged to help each other, share their experiences, their knowledge.

One cornerstone idea is with projects and their reviews - each learner has to do hands on, practical projects to showcase their abilities. These projects then get evaluated by fellow learners that have already progressed further and people working in the industry that provide mentorships. Doing it this way gives learners beneficial experience and showcases what they are good at or highlights some knowledge gaps that can be filled in.

Obviously with such a highly dynamic field as Data/AI, when some new innovation is coming out each day, the courses and materials need to be up to date, which TC tries to do with various content updates, community events and so on. Some outdated or unclear sections can be encountered, but again this is less of an issue when community shares their experience and provide better solutions that then get integrated into main material.

Another great thing about TC is the freedom and not being tied down with restrictions. The ability to go through the material at your own pace (provided you meet the generous deadlines) is great and the project requirements offer enough leeway to showcase your creativity and skills without feeling limiting.

Overall I'd recommend Turing College, provided you don't expect to be hand held each step of the way, because with all the freedoms TC provides, a lot of your success depends on your own work that you put in.

I've been learning data science through this fully online, self-paced program, and it’s been a great experience overall. There’s a ton of learning material available — at times it can feel a bit overwhelming, but there’s always a supportive team ready to help when you need it.

The material is well-structured and builds up gradually. You start by getting a brief introduction to a concept, either through the learning content or a project, and then in the next sprint you get to dive deeper into it. I really like this progressive approach — it helps reinforce understanding without rushing you.

The platform also uses a gamified project review system with clear rules, which helps keep you motivated and constantly learning. It’s a great setup for anyone who wants flexibility but still appreciates structure and accountability.

The community is good. The material of the course is quite often very old. In the age when 6 months old information might be outdated, some of the course material is 3 -4 -5 years old. Some courses even older, although the material there is updated, the fact that it was recorded long time ago gives it an outdated and very dry and hard to stay engaged delivery.

What is quite good is a community. Support and if you have questions your pretty much always find who can help you. This is a big plus. Maybe the biggest plus.

I am glad that I chose to study data analytics at Turing College, because the study schedule is very flexible, the theoretical material is carefully selected, but most importantly, a lot of attention is paid to practical tasks. The program provides an opportunity to learn not only the main data analytics tools (Exel, SQL, PowerBi, Python, Pandas..), but also the opportunity to additionally deepen knowledge in specialized modules such as product analytics, risk, payment, marketing, financial analytics. Studies are organized in English, so it is a great opportunity to improve not only analytical skills, but also languages. Studies at Turing College are a great choice for those who want to study independently, like flexibility and want to gain deep knowledge in data analytics.

I am currently 6 months studying Data Analytics in Turing College. So far I could describe the experience as very positive and enlightening. The Senior and Junior Team Leads are professional and have a lot experience on the learning subjects. The evaluation system really surprised me in a good way. Peers are very helpful and supportive.
