I am glad I found this place, coming from an innovation school I find myself talking about Turing in almost every conversation with fellow innovators, its that impactful.

I joined the AI for Business Analytics in December 2024. I like the idea of independent learning in sprints backed with guidance and support from the team of STLs and course admins, and there is plenty of useful information and exercises to check your knowledge and apply what you've learned. This course is still fresh, so there are a few inconsistencies in the materials, but the Turing College team ask for our feedback at the end of each sprint and act on it.

The data science course offered has a great selection of learning content and good support both from STL and JTL, leaving you a lot of space to study on your own, but also offering a lot of opportunities and platform to ask questions and debate topics with other students and also tutors.
The customer support is also great, always helpful and understanding about the setbacks sometimes life gives us. Overall a great experience!

From day one, the learning approach felt different: hands-on, structured, and truly job-oriented. Throughout the program, I’ve been working on real-world projects, which makes a huge difference in understanding and applying concepts.

What I love the most is the incredible support system. The community is beyond amazing: mentors, peers, and even the staff are always there to help, give feedback, and share insights. The peer review system helped me improve not just technically but also in my ability to give and receive constructive feedback.

The experience is challenging but rewarding, and I can see how much I’ve grown, both in technical skills and in confidence. Knowing that I have this level of support while changing careers makes the journey so much more enjoyable!

Best online learning platform

Turing College presents an outstanding concept for teaching modern technology and data science skills: Their innovative selection of material breaks away from the overly academic and mathematical descriptions of algorithms, instead offering easy-to-understand concepts with numerous examples and opportunities for hands-on testing to gain real experience.
One of the remarkable features of Turing College is their scholarship program, which is awarded to the most promising students based on their performance in an entry test. This provides a unique opportunity for talented individuals to access high-quality education.
The college utilizes a sprint-based learning approach where students acquire skills and then apply them to new projects or data sets. Each sprint is evaluated by a peer who has already completed it and by an industry expert. This process offers a valuable opportunity for growth through constructive criticism, respectful exchanges, and gaining industry insights.
Weekly stand-up meetings are conducted for status monitoring, allowing students to share their sprint experiences with peers from the same batch and receive support and industry insights from the senior team lead, who is an industry expert.
Turing College also ensures ample support for students by offering numerous open sessions with tutors each day, where students can ask questions about the material and their projects. Additionally, the chat systems, with channels dedicated to each sprint and general course-related topics, foster an environment of continuous learning and collaboration.
The Turing Team demonstrated their understanding and open-minded support, especially when everyday life interferes with a student’s learning progress. This supportive environment is something that many wish to see mirrored in the industry.
A word of advice for prospective students: do not underestimate the time required for reading material and programming for the projects. The initial sprints might seem easy, so, if possible, aim to complete them well before the deadline. The extra days gained can be crucial for tackling the more challenging modules later on. Excelling in this course can mean a near full-time job - but it's boosting your competence and confidence regarding ML!
Overall, Turing College offers a comprehensive, supportive, and industry-aligned educational experience that prepares students effectively for their careers.
