My experience was fantastic, mainly because of the supportive community at Turing College. It provided me with the confidence to transition into a new career path. The structured tasks and the review process were particularly beneficial, as they gave me a clear understanding of my progress and insights into the field of data analytics. I believe the curriculum and support from Turing College played a significant role in helping me secure a job and achieve my goals.

Great place to start towards your data career. Turing College introduced me to multiple new data analytics methods and allowed me to practice real-world problems and present them to senior experts. Afterwards, they even support you with various tools to make finding a job easier! Overall, I would say that everything was a great experience.

Turing College’s Data Science course was a fantastic experience, blending theoretical knowledge with practical application. The 1-on-1 meetings for personalized feedback on exercises and the stand-up meetings for collaborative problem-solving were invaluable. The course is a well put together mixture of available material online, the best part is that the material is well organized and the course follows a structured approach. This also includes a steady, expected continuous growth that ultimately, which means you won't be asked for things you haven't yet studied. The caveat is that most of this content is already available for free.

Where the course and the school itself excels is the socialization part, with stand-ups, open sessions and peer reviews ingrained into the core of it. They are invaluable experiences of growth and socialization, with exchanges of ideas that can bring people closer to their goals. It doesn't happen often, but the reviewers may not be aligned say on what is important for a project and on this kind of small technicalities. The college has possibly made the best choice on this, and it's an ongoing change which hopefully will shape it for the better.

Studying at Turing College, importantly, gives you first-hand access to many dataset and practice working with them, which constitutes the basis for a nice presentation as a candidate.

It was awesome experience to meet all these nice, smart, friendly people in Turing College. Learning material and topics were high quality, TC team was also great. So if you are thinking about IT, I can highly recommend this school.

I joined Turing College with almost no coding experience at the very beginning of the college during the Covid. At Turing I gained solid foundations of software engineering, machine learning and deep learning. The combination of these skills allowed me to gain my first job in a consultancy company.

While Turing serves as an instrumental stepping stone towards a career in data science, I acknowledge that it alone does not make you a great data science specialist, so you will need to continue learning even after the graduation. However, it stands as a transformative platform for someone who wants to enter the data science field and get the basic skills.

After Turing I decided to pursue a master's degree in data science, so I can compare Turing with traditional universities. I can assure you that Turing College will provide you with skills that are on demand in the job market, unlike universities where you learn coding with old-fashioned statistical software and many courses are deeply theoretical with little practical applications in the job market.

Another advantage of studying in Turing is distance and self-paced learning. You can study at your preferred pace and the only "exams" you need to pass are projects at the end of each sprint where you'll receive feecback by Senior Team Leads (STLs) with profound experience in their fields.

Lastly, while studying in Turing, you will prepare a portfolio with data science projects, a practical embodiment of your knowledge. These will definitely allow you to stand out of other DS graduates and bring and advantage during job interviews. The career centre organizes meetings with reputable companies, providing invaluable insights into the practicalities of being a data science specialist.

This course exceeded my expectations. It was challenging in a good way; while it pushed me, it wasn't so overwhelming that I wanted to give up. Whenever I felt stuck or lost, there were always mentors ready to help out. The balance was just right. The course encourages you to figure things out on your own, which I believe is essential for genuine learning. Still, they're there to support you when you hit a wall. The mentors were incredibly helpful, breaking things down when necessary. They understand the importance of facing challenges to truly grasp concepts while ensuring you're not left behind. Overall, a really solid experience.

It was what I needed in my dynamic lifestyle: I was able to easily combine self-pased studies with full time job, organize my work based on personal schedule. I mostly gained from 1-on-1 reviews with experts in data field. Different proffesionals dedicated almost an hour of direct, also some time prior, for my task presentation and investigation. It was a good opportunity to test and fix my knowledge gaps, get understanding and advices from real life cases. Support of the team and study colleagues were inspiring, fast and patient.

I had some prior knowledge in data science, so I was concerned the content might be too basic, but it turned out to be comprehensive and worthwhile. The most beneficial aspect for me was creating projects and receiving valuable feedback from professionals. The instructors were always warm, friendly, and happy to answer my questions.

Acquiring skills in SQL, Python, and other technical areas online is quite easy without external guidance. However, when it comes to creating projects from the ground up and presenting them to peers working in the data field, the dynamics change. During this process, you receive invaluable advice on real-world approaches and insights into how tasks and projects should be done.

The course initially introduces fundamental concepts of data analytics and gradually delves into mastering essential technical tools such as SQL, Tableau, and Visual Studio. Later, it goes in real-life applications like cohort analysis, customer lifetime value (CLV), marketing strategies, financial evaluations, risk analysis, and more.

Having personally self-taught programming previously, I definitely choose Turing College's course. Participating in it not only saves considerable time but also provides an opportunity to gain invaluable experience. The feedback and guidance offered by professionals during project reviews are immensely beneficial in refining your skills and understanding real-world applications.

I have studied in a lot of different online bootcamps and schools (datacamp, edx, coursera, etc). Turing College was the most useful for the following reasons:
1. Projects reviewed by industry professionals. The way that learning works in Turing is as follows: curriculum is spilt into sprint, each sprint is a topic (A/B testing, Cohorts, etc). In each sprint after completing the theory, you have to do a practical projects. Then these practical projects are graded by an industry professional during an 1-on-1 meeting. A lot of other bootcamp miss this human touch, a professional that can tell you why you approach is ok, but may run into maintenance issues in the future and such.
2. A flexible learning model. There are no classes so you can learn wherever and whenever you want. There are deadlines for each sprint of course and you have to meet with your batch in weekly standups. But even standups have 2-3 times to choose from each week, so it very very flexible.
3. Community. Community is not a nice to have, but an essential part of the learning experience. You have to participate in weekly standups, you have to do project reviews for other learners or you won’t be able to progress with your own material, you have to help other people in discord (this one is not mandatory, but if you won’t help other, other won’t help you). You make friends and a lot of good connections this way.
4. Help getting employed. One of the main selling points of Turing is that ~97% or something like that people get employed no longer than 6 months after graduation, so they are very interested to keeps this number up. They help to setup you linkedin and github, search for roles and get ready for interviews. They are partners with a lot of different companies that help create the curriculum, so Turing will make sure that you get employed. I got hired while still studying.

I have had excellent opportunities to learn at my own pace, balancing between my family life, part-time work, and Turing College. I received tremendous support from the peers I connected with, and the senior team leaders are rich in knowledge and experience.

It is intense course that helped me in less than 4 months launch my new career in data analytics path.
It is intens course, while studying i was working full time as well so i had no free time, it is great that your time management depends on you and you can get support practically 24/7. There are scheduled open sessions and stand ups, but you can DM other peers or team leads regarding projects anytime. 😉

It was hard, but i wasn't feeling left alone with projects. Possible to manage work and studies, but in this case i would recommend to priories studies. Since duration of course depends on you (how much time you invest) possible to finish course even in 2-4 months

There are a few topics I would like to share. The whole idea of studying online, at your own pace is fantastic. You can go to the topic as deep as you want since they are providing additional material and you always can ask team leads during weekly standups for additional information. You do not stay alone, there is always somebody eager to help you. I like the fact that students would check the works of other students who are on a lower stage of learning - because this is how I would learn and get different possible ways of finishing the work you are asked for. Amazing community to study with, Turing College gives possibility to everyone to grow and learn new things. Does not matter how old are you, or what is your background - they will help you reach your goal. This is not another one-month-course school, this is a place where you will learn how and why. Just go for it and you will not regret it ;)
