We wasted 7 months of having an architect to design our house project, which is a 3 storey detached house, and the planning application was not approved. Our building project was plagued by difficulties with planning and building control.The original property had a small extension and an outside WC, which needed demolishing. The planners refused to allow the new extension to exceed the footprint of the old one. Alex and his team guided us through the complexities and bureaucracy to produce a fine a simple design within the constraints laid down by government, maximising the floor area and natural light and providing services and facilities in the optimum positions. We are delighted with the result.
