Livashnie is an excellent math tutor
Livashnie has been and is a great tutor for our daughter who is currently in 11th Grade and we will continue to work with her in the future. They have built a good relationship together which is nice to see. Our daughter really enjoys the sessions and is learning a lot. Livashnie has also been very responsive with additional questions and advise outside of the sessions. I would highly recommend Livashnie as a Tutor.

We were very happy with Tutorchase and especially our tutor Shalem, who helped my son to achieve a 7 for his IB Maths HL. He is very patient and my son said that Shalem doesn’t just teach how to get to the answer, he teaches the thinking necessary for more.

The individual attention to our needs. Our academic consultant Mike was great and matched us with the right tutor. My daughter loves her tutor and her performance has improved greatly. I will definitely be using the service for my daughter's final year coming up!

Lesson with Jessica
My lesson with Ms. Jessica was very smooth. Tutor Review
I’ve been using TutorChase for over two years and have had an overall great experience.
My top tutors were Lana for History and English, Jeremy for Physics, and Ghada for Chemistry. Lana completely helped me gain confidence in essay-based subjects, raising my IB History predicted grade to a 6 while also providing amazing support with my coursework.
Jeremy and Ghada both gave excellent feedback on my coursework, which helped me improve it significantly and achieve high marks. Ghada’s teaching style was really effective. She always took the time to explain each topic clearly before getting me to answer practice questions straight away, which helped me understand the content much better.

Beware of automatic updates of study package and then claiming it was to cover negative balance
We took a package a of 5 lessons from Tutor Chase. The payment for 5 lessons was made upfront. After the 5 lessons were completed the academic consultant reached out to see if we needed more lessons, to which my response was I will take a call after the exam results. That was acknowledged by the academic consultant and he even said he will reach out after the exams. A week later payment for next 5 lessons were deducted with no prior notice even after clear communication between Tutor Chase appointed academic consultant and me that I do not want to sign up for more lessons.
Update 15Jul: Tutor Chase admin team has come back saying there was negative balance for classes delivered.
I have clear proof that payment for the package of 5 lessons were taken upfront on 18 May. Last lesson of block of 5 was on 08 Jun.
Michael checked with me on 08 June if more classes were required and I clearly said no will assess based on exam results. This was acknowledged by Michael on 09 June. Inspite of saying I don’t want further lessons they invoiced me for another 5 lessons on 15 June quoting negative balance.
They are forcing me to continue to take lessons even when I haven’t agreed to or don’t need at this moment.
Update 23Jul: TutorChase have refunded the amount after investigating the complaint

Following your query, we carried out a full review of the account and discovered that an additional lesson hour had been logged to your account in error. The tutor had incorrectly recorded 6 hours of lessons against the original 5-hour package, which caused the account to appear as though it had entered a negative balance and subsequently triggered the renewal.
After investigating the matter with the tutor, they confirmed that this was a lesson logging error. As a result, we have issued a full refund.
We sincerely apologise for the confusion and inconvenience caused, and we appreciate you raising the issue so that we could investigate and resolve it.
History improvement
I have improved significantly in History thanks to tutor chase. My teacher Lana has taught me a range of effective techniques and strategies that helped me develop both my exam skills and my understanding of the subject. As a result, I became more confident in answering exam questions, structuring my responses, and applying my knowledge effectively, which has had a noticeable impact on my overall performance in History.
