I cannot say enough good things about this tutoring service. My 80-year-old friend wanted to learn how to become a bit of a social-media star, as well as get comfortable using Canva, iMovie, Pinterest, and other digital tools that can feel intimidating at first.
Her personal tutor, Jason, has been wonderful. He is patient, kind, empathetic, and exceptionally good at meeting her where she is. Most importantly, he quickly picked up on her individual learning style and adapts his teaching so that she can actually retain and enjoy what she’s learning.
At no point has she ever felt talked down to, rushed, or made to feel embarrassed for asking questions. Jason explains things clearly, encourages her creativity, and makes technology feel accessible instead of overwhelming. She is gaining real confidence and having fun in the process—which is exactly what we hoped for.
Sunshine, who coordinates the scheduling, has also been incredibly responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with. She makes arranging sessions simple and stress-free, which is such a plus!

Mya was an absolute charm to meet. My Son enjoyed his first session and felt comfortable with Mya. We are looking forward to continuing Tutoring with Mya. She’s a great fit for our family. Thanks Tutor Hero!

My son had his tonsils removed and ultimately needed to stay home from school for two weeks. TutorHero arranged for a tutor to come to our home and help him catch up on the material he had missed.

Kim worked with him for three days in two-hour sessions and did an excellent job. She communicated clearly with both my son and me, was punctual and professional, and came well prepared for each session.
