Brilliant!

I have shopped at Twentytwentyone for many years as I find the products they sell good quality and of great design. Always find what I want.
Gaia was amazing, responding quickly to my requests and sent me photographs and details. Arranged quick next day delivery at the time I requested. Can't thank her enough. Great employee Twentytwentyone.

Made-to-order rug

I ordered a made-to-order rug and appreciated being able to borrow swatches to compare with the rest of my furniture. I decided to change the direction of the pattern, and this was adjusted perfectly at no extra cost. The finished rug is beautiful and exactly what I hoped for. Delivery was smooth and efficient too.

Gaia from 20201.

Gaia from 20201 was really great to deal with - and replaced the internal part of my Borge Morgensen two piece sofa with internal cushion and ottoman with a full cushion - and it is now like new - and very comfortable once again. It was an effortless, and fast, and they handled the connection to Frederika, the manufacturer for me. Highly recommended.

Have been going to 2021 for decades as they offer the widest selection of quality design for the home/office/studio. Their service has always been impecable, prompt and ahead of the game. Staff are very quick to reply to queries and deliveries are always on time.

one of the best furniture shops in…

one of the best furniture shops in north London. Their selection is much wider than what available at the shop. My recommendaiton: check online and ask, you'll have quality support to find the perfect item for your home. We already have quite a few pieces and keep coming back.

Mia made my customer experience excellent. She made stuff happen! She was courteous and communicated with me the whole time from start to finish. When the furniture arrived we were delighted. Bravo Mia!

Rude and condescending staff

Encountered an incredibly rude, snooty and condescending staff member while returning an item. The service was unacceptable and I left feeling very frustrated by the interaction.

A very dispiriting experience…

Went there yesterday to narrow down choices for dining tables and shelves. Staff were totally uninterested in giving me advice. They gave me only cursory replies and then went straight back to their computers. They made it pretty clear that I was bothering them. A very dispiriting experience. Please do better.

If you live outside London don't bother…

If you live outside London don't bother with this company. My partner and I have ordered two items, worth over £10,000, in the last 3 months and they have failed to deliver without repeated chasing. They promised to deliver items and failed to either get them to a courier or organise delivery. They say things are more difficult outside of London! Really? We are still waiting for one item, they have cancelled delivery twice, once for not living in London. They have lots of our money and we still don't have an £8K dining table despite it being sat in their warehouse for 3 weeks. What a terrible service.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of your experience with twentytwentyone. I'm sorry to hear that the table you ordered was delayed at the final hurdle by a last minute problem with our delivery providers.

We aim to offer the same experience to all our customers but logistics can be more complicated for large items being delivered further afield. The table you ordered is both very heavy and delicate, and required a four-person team to deliver and install it, coordinating two vans for the same delivery. Deliveries to more rural areas are typically done on a consolidated basis and this consolidation can take some time, during which goods are safely stored at our warehouse.

I understand that prior to delivery, one of the delivery team was unable to attend due to medical reasons, and the delivery date was rescheduled to ensure all four delivery people could safely install the table in your home.

I've since learned that delivery went ahead smoothly and I hope you are enjoying use of the table. We remain on hand should you need us for anything, and hope to be able to welcome you back in future.

Bad costumer experience and indifference to the potential damage of fragile items

I recently purchased nine Arhoj Ghost sculptures, worth approximately £180, from the Upper Street branch of Twentytwentyone. I chose this location specifically because it was described as a gift shop, rather than their main showroom, as I intended to get the sculptures as a present.

Upon purchasing the sculptures, I requested gift wrapping. To my surprise, this service was unavailable, and the store only offered tissue paper as an alternative. Given the delicate nature of the sculptures and the fact that I would be cycling home, I requested additional packaging to prevent damage. Despite my concerns, the store provided minimal protection, offering only a small, unsuitable box that quickly broke down and some bubble wrap after repeated requests.

I left the store feeling frustrated and disappointed. It was clear that customer satisfaction was not a priority. Despite my repeated requests for adequate packaging, I was left to fend for myself, wrapping the fragile sculptures with insufficient materials while the cashier seemed indifferent to my concerns.

It is disappointing that a store like this would lack basic gift-wrapping services and demonstrate such indifference to the potential damage of fragile items.

Good morning, and thank you for your feedback. I have shared this with our shop team to help improve future customer experience.

I'm sorry that the shop team were unable to offer a gift wrapping service in store. This is something we will look to implement in future, but at this time we only offer gift wrapping for items purchased online and dispatched from our warehouse, where we have more space.

The Arhoj ghosts are unique in that they do not come individually boxed by the supplier, and each is different to the next. While we don't hold stock of packaging boxes at our shop, I see our team located one to use in this case but I'm sorry to hear it was not fit for purpose. Bubble-wrap is usually effective to prevent breakages so I'm pleased the items made it home without breakage depsite the box degrading.
