Reliable company

This company always can be relied on to have very competitive prices and very good delivery times.I ordered a Vitra cork stool and was very pleased with the info I was given with lead times etc. I have bought quite a few items from them and have never been disappointed with any aspect of the process. They are now one of my favourite design retailers.

Terrible service

Terrible service. Zero response to emails with a constant refrain "technical issues our emails are not being delivered" or "we've responded several time- must be in your spam folder". So I called three times- no one ever answers and no one calls back. If I ever get the product I ordered I'll never order from them again.

Our customer services team have been in contact on multiple occasions, via email and phone, but haven't been able to reach you. I can only apologise with regards to your calls; the Web Orders number is monitored Monday - Friday 9.15am - 5.45pm (GMT) with an answerphone facility. We will investigate immediately, as you shouldn't have had an issue getting through to us.

Item went out of stock, back in stock still not delivered..

Ordered and paid for 2 Kuyuemon reusable ceramic coffee filters in September. The item went out of stock in the days following my order however I was assured that they would be dispatched when the came back into stock. I chased again in October and was reassured again. Nothing has been received yet and after just checking their website they are now back in stock (with a big price increase). No notification from them that my order has been or will be shipped.

Very disappointed with the service received. Lack of communication and basic customer care.

After getting in touch it was established that the order was shipped to the wrong address, something which was clarified at the time of ordering. I feel like with better communication this could have been avoided. However they have delivered the items successfully. And since contacting them last week they have been in touch to resolve the issue.

Our customer services team have been in touch; as far as we were aware, the Kuyuemon reusable ceramic coffee filters had arrived with you - we can only apologise, replacements will be issued immediately.

The filters were originally listed at the incorrect price on the website, which is why this has now been adjusted, however, any order that was placed at this discounted rate was honoured. Unfortunately, there was a delay in the arrival of stock from Japan.

You should have received an automated email when your order was dispatched, so I am sorry that this was not received, we will investigate this shortly. We remain at your disposal should you require any further information on this issue.

Ordered chairs in July with an 8-10…

Ordered chairs in July with an 8-10 week lead time but still waiting. No communication from them to let me know there was a delay until I contacted them.

Expecting a call from them the past week for a new update but nothing. Called customer service multiple times but no answer.

Overall very disappointing service and no products to show for it

When redecorating my home this year a friend recommended Twenty Twenty One, they did not disappoint! I have now bought furniture, lighting and many household items (and have my eye on a few more) , their service has always been professional, prompt and considerate. The pieces I have purchased from them are of very high quality and look super sleek in my home. I would definitely recommend this store.

Great service and amazing products.

Fantastic array of products. Really knowledgable staff who helped and advised me. They were also extremely patient with my ever changing needs! Products delivered on time and look so great. I get so many nice compliments on the table and also unique lights that I purchased. Will definitely be returning. Highly recommend.

Staff are knowledgeable and nothing is too much bother, always happy to go the extra mile. I have shopped with twentytwentyone for years, not as frequently as I would have liked. I buy with confidence knowing that if anything goes wrong they are happy to help resolve the issue. Buy once, buy well !

Didn’t received any updates and still waiting after 5 months.

Ordered an item December 2020, got a confirmation email and sales order confirmation a week later. The delivery time would be 4-6 weeks, this because of replenishment issues combined with COVID-19. Understandable...

Didn’t had any update after 4-6 weeks how long the delay should take, so sent an email with the question for an ETA.
(February 3, 2021)
With the answer I will receive my item around the 5th of April 2021.

Didn’t had any update around April 5th from twentytwentyone. So needed to sent another email to this company.
With a reply that the item just has been cleared through customs in Finland and will be shipped in the upcoming week.
(April 14th, 2021)

On April 22nd I sent out another email with the question when I’ll receive my item. Till today 25th of April they never replied to this email and they are bad of updating the customer.

Got a reply on the 28th of April, that the item arrived in their warehouse. And with the note that they will make an appointment with me for onward delivery.
It is the 3rd of May and they still didn't contact me with a delivery date.

Edit [10.05.2021]:
Waited till the 6th of May to get a notification, no dice. Contacted twentytwentyone again and asked for an update. The response; they were short-staffed and this added up another delay in the delivery process.
On May 10th I emailed them and asked about an estimated time of arrival....

My advice just look for another company if you spent a decent amount of money.

I am sorry to hear that this has been your experience of our customer service. Both Brexit and Covid have caused unprecedented delays with shipping for a large proportion of manufacturers based in the EU and the ramifications have been such that we halted shipping to the EU at the beginning of the year. We were happy to honour your order (which was placed before we suspended shipping to the EU) but acknowledge that we should have made it clearer from the offset that shipping into the UK and from the UK to the EU was not without issues at that time. A combination of supply chain shortages and backlogs at EU and UK ports meant that it was very difficult to predict when your item would arrive with us, and I apologise that this had a negative impact on your experience with twentytwentyone. We are working to improve our systems and communication with customers to ensure this is not repeated in future, and would like to sincerely apologise for the issues you faced.

Great item!

I brought a woven basket and the product was great, really good quality. I ordered them over the weekend and they were shipped on Monday and I received the basked on Tuesday. Very impressed!

Great first impressions

Placed an order for a designer sofa and a lamp with them after less than positive reviews of another (major) upmarket furniture store. Delighted with the attentive, friendly and professional service. Lisa welcomed me at the show room, ordered fabric samples which arrived the next morning, and followed up on my order. Her colleagues were just as good. They seem to match competitors' prices and offer free delivery.

Brilliant when something went wrong

Nearly three years ago we bought two Robin Day recliner chairs from Twentytwentyone. Expensive but we had moved from Kew to Brentford and after years in an Edwardian terraced house it was fun furnishing our amazing new penthouse apartment in an old building. The chairs were also amazingly comfortable. But nearly three years on we found some screwheads loose on the floor. The screws that fixed the metal frame to the back of the seat were rather long and slim and 3 out of 4 (across the two chairs) had sheared. I got in touch with Twentytwentyone and they were so helpful. I got the chairs to their warehouse in my big estate car and they sent them back to the manufacturer, who fitted stronger fixings and returned them quickly. Then TwentyTwentyOne delivered them back to us, the other side of London, all free under warranty and even though they don't normally collect or return warranty items. Thank you Sepi and Simon, lovely to have our favourite seating back, fixed. I've always thought it's only when something goes wrong that you find out how good a supplier is.

Superb selection and service

2021 offer a superb selection and range of contemporary furniture. The staff are also excellent and go to enormous trouble to ensure you are happy. We have purchased from them multiple times and have always had a good experience. I recommend them to everyone.
