I purchased a travel tea set, and it has been a reliable set for me. It is compact, convenient, and I don't worry about it being damaged in transit.

First of all, the customer service team was superb. They respond swiftly and answered to all of my queries well and even give recommendations. Overall, my online purchase experience was really great.

I ordered Purple Ruyao travel tea set, it looks good and packed well. Same goes to the tea, cant wait to try it.

My wife bought a tea table from them for my birthday in August 2025. The original tray came a month later as did the replacement a month after that. After contacting the seller, they agreed to issue a refund though only through PayPal in November 2025.

However, months later, they initiated a dispute on that same transaction. I then discovered the seller had sent the refund disguised as a “Goods & Services” payment rather than a proper refund. This allowed them to falsely claim they “did not receive an item,” reversing this refund.

Now we're out almost $400 and had to throw away a pile of broken tea tables from this shady company.

Good Customer Recovery, But Initial Order Error

I recently ordered a tea set from Umi Tea Sets (Order #24588) and initially received the wrong design. This was disappointing as it was meant to be a gift and I had selected Express delivery to ensure it arrived in time.

To their credit, their customer service responded quickly once I reached out. They asked for a photo, acknowledged the mistake, and offered a partial refund as an option. I requested that the correct item be resent instead, and they agreed to ship a replacement. The replacement did arrive, which I appreciate.

Communication was polite and responsive, although I did have to follow up a few times for shipping updates and tracking details. I am still awaiting clear instructions on how to return the incorrect item that was originally sent.

Overall, while the initial packing error was frustrating, the issue was resolved and the team was courteous throughout the process. I would recommend them, but I suggest double-checking your order upon arrival and allowing buffer time if purchasing for an important event.

The products from Umi Tea are beautifully crafted and high quality. Despite the careful and elegant packaging, one of the teapots we ordered arrived with a small chip. Being a holiday gift for my partner, I was heartbroken. Thankfully, Umi was quick to respond offering a replacement or full refund. I love my Yixing Lotus tea set. It's beautifully crafted and excellent for serving guests with. Umi also provides excellent customer service. When I broke the fair cup from my set (I blame the cat), they created a special listing specifically for a replacement and the turnaround was fast and professional.

I also have one of their stoneware tea trays with the water feature. Definitely worth a purchase purely for the ambiance.

A cup from my set came in broken. Once notified, Customer service was quick to respond. They were very kind and understanding and offered great help.

The ease of ordering and seeing that care was taken in packaging for shipment. The quality of the product is superior and what I wanted to receive. I will probably order from Umi Tea again.
