Disceptive, unethical, disappointing

This was a terrible experience. First I was duped into using this "agency" from Kayak, thinking I just checked out on Kayak. Then the airline cancelled my flight and instead of offering me the option of a refund, they told me that I was at risk of not getting a full-refund (which is a lie, and against the rules of the US Dept of Transportation) and I had to choose this alternative flight, which I expressed multiple times I did not like. They did not disclose any policy for same-day flight change either. Completely unethical and unapologetic company and I would highly suggest anyone to avoid using them at all costs.

Bad experience

Unfortunately, had a very bad experience. I was directed to Underpricer from Kayak.com to buy a ticket for my daughter from Dublin to DC. Underpricer and Gurufare are technically two different companies but at least share the same customer service team. Their communications are very similar and the websites are the same but with different branding. Both companies charged me for the one ticket. I did not realize this since they only confirmed the one ticket until I saw my bank statement. When I contacted them, they passed me back and forth between the two companies and never came to a resolution. When I called their customer service the same person could handle calls for both companies. So if you are sent to one of these two companies from Kayak, confirm immediately if they do not both charge you. If you catch it in the first 24hrs you can fix it. They do not seem interested in resolving this situation for me so I’ll avoid these companies for the foreseeable future

Great Customer Service

Oakley was patient with me and very diligent in following up on resolving my issue regarding the name correction I had to make on my reservation. Thank you again, Oakley, for all your help and for being awesome!

After purchasing tickets through this…

After purchasing tickets through this agency, a one-letter typo appeared in two passengers’ surnames on the ticket. The agency repeatedly stated that the only solution was to cancel the tickets and reissue them at the current fare, which would have resulted in a very significant additional cost.

After contacting United Airlines directly, a reservations agent confirmed that the tickets remain valid for travel, that the Secure Flight information already matches the passports, and that a note confirming the correct spelling has been added to the reservation. No cancellation or reissue was required.

This situation caused unnecessary stress and required considerable time to resolve. I would have expected clearer information and more careful handling of the reservation.

Had some issues with the wrong seats…

Had some issues with the wrong seats showing up on the final confirmation. Aberforth from UnderPricer took care of it, got us the seats we needed (together!), and kept up constant communication until it was solved.

SCAM!!! Stay Away

Booked a flight to Dubai through underpricer.com which was cancelled due to War in the Middle East. United Airlines has already began issuing refunds for this cancelled trip, but because I booked through a 3rd party agency (underpricer) I was advised to reach out to them. The customer service line refers you to their website and nobody has responded to my numerous claims that I have submitted. My money is now being held andI can’t even rebook another vacation. Horrible customer service! I’ll never use this again. Seems like a scam

I had a very good experience booking my flight through Underpricer. The booking process was smooth, and their website was easy to navigate when searching for flights and reviewing the trip details.

Their customer service team was also very responsive and helpful. They assisted me with my booking concerns and made sure everything was properly arranged. I really appreciate their support and the effort they put into helping customers.

Overall, I’m satisfied with the service and would definitely consider using Underpricer again for future travel bookings. Highly recommended!

Cancellation refund scam within 24 hrs by Underpricer - Avoid Underpricer and Kayak at all costs.

I booked a ticket to Hongkong through Kayak and it generated a ticket through underpricer or underpricer.com. Its a scam website where it promises full refund on tickets booked if cancelled within 24 hours. I cancelled within 16 hours and they deduct more than $350 in the refund saying Seat booking is a 3rd party service. There is no way to reach their support team NOR does Underpricer,com respond to emails. Complete scam. Kayak takes no responsibility and Underpricer does not respond. Avoid Kayak and Underpricer at all costs.
