Brilliant resource to learn from really constructive with how they teach each topic related to history, practice question after each section, summary for most topic which are really helpful once you have watch the video and can read the summary for recalling the content as you might not have time to watch all the videos again.
Exam paper question to practice build you into it by doing videos on how to do Exam question on time then mock exam then exam paper question with time limit according to your specific board exam.
100% recommended as the quality of the resource is worth it also like the fact it teaches you on the memory technique.

Helped me achieve an A in 1 year
Whether you want to boost your grade, or want to take on an additional subject of interest like I did using UpLearn from the beginning of Year 13. I decided to study Economics all in one year which I knew was a big ask, UpLearn held me accountable as I could directly see how far I’d progressed through the curriculum as well as being forced to check back on my memory through the quizzes. I ended up coming out with an A grade which could not have been achieved without UpLearn!

From C's to an A
I was previously earning C's at a-level economics, but ultimately ended up receiving an A in the final exams. If that's not enough proof that this revision site is aura and worth it, then I don't know what is.

Misleading and expensive.
I bought uplearn to help support me with 2 of my subjects (maths and physics) it is very difficult to complete whilst juggling other work and deadlines during the final year so it's near impossible to get 90% or higher on a course.
The tutoring service is misleading. You get 24hr responses from AI. Human tutors will get back to you about a day or so after you send a message. Not worth the extra cost at all.
I found that UpLearn did help me understand and learn the content however might've given me false confidence regarding application of knowledge in exam questions.
I ended up with much lower results in the subjects I was using UpLearn to study for compared to ones I studied for using school textbooks.
If you need help learning it could be worth it. If you need help with the application of knowledge or want tutoring I wouldn't recommend.

Reviewing Year 12 and 13 A-Level Maths
Most importantly, I came to UpLearn at the start of year 13 for the money back guarantee of getting an A and if you don't achieve that, you get the money back (given that you complete at least 90% of the course). I completed 90% of the course and achieved the grade B that I needed for uni. I am now receiving a refund and writing this review because Uplearn kept their money back promise.
Onto the user experience, topic breakdowns were clear, the feature of ticking off sections by doing section quiz questions instead of completing videos with built-in questions was good. The answers offer fully worked solutions so you can identify pitfalls in your own working. The past paper video work-throughs were also helpful; ideally, they'd like you to do test papers until you're getting 90% in them. I left the test papers until the end but you can access them whenever it suits you.
I would recommend using a small, portable whiteboard and pen when using Uplearn for working out and a small notebook to jot down nuggets of useful info.
A feature I would like to see introduced is a stop the answer going through when it is taking time to process your answer because so many times I looked up to see I had made a typo and it understandably marked me wrong. This meant I had to do more questions on a topic I had become secure on.
Final message: I would absolutely recommend Uplearn, plus they can help you out with funds given your background too.

We're really glad our money-back guarantee gave you that peace of mind, and that the course and our features worked well for you along the way. Your tips about a portable whiteboard and a notebook are brilliant too; we might have to borrow those! 🤭
We also appreciate the suggestion about pausing answer-processing to avoid typos being marked wrong - that's really useful feedback, and we'll pass it on to our team.
Thanks again for your kind words and the recommendation. Wishing you all the best at uni, we're rooting for you 🙌

I love uplearn
I love uplearn, it was the only thing i used for my psychology aqa alevel and i ended up getting a A*( after getting a C in November mocks). I completed all the videos and tasks and used the summary videos to make all my AO1 and AO3 notes which i then blurted until i remembered all the studys. It made it so much easier than my other subjects as everything i needed was on one platform. Within 2 months of consistently using uplearn i felt ready for my exams.

Not enough quality questions
For Edexcel mathematics I didn't use uplearn at all except for statistics, where I thought it was pretty useful for things like the large data set.
Physics I found really useful again for the content but not the questions in the question section.
There was no further maths content for me to revise off on this website.
This combination made me pivot to other websites even though my school paid for this one.

Hi there 😊
Thanks so much for taking the time to leave us a review. We’re really pleased to hear that you found the Physics content useful, and that the Statistics course helped with those trickier topics, such as large datasets 💪
We’re sorry that the question practice didn’t match this usefulness for you, though. Our Content Team spends hundreds of hours creating and refining the quizzes throughout our courses, so this is valuable feedback for us. We haven’t had much feedback around the question practice in this way before, so we’d really value understanding more about what you felt was missing.
We also appreciate your feedback about Further Maths. We don't currently offer a Further Maths course, so this isn't something our platform provides at the moment, but it's great to hear it's something you'd be interested in seeing from us in future.
If you’re happy to, please drop us an email at team@uplearn.co.uk with a little more detail about the Maths and Physics questions you felt were lacking. We’d love to understand more and make sure your feedback reaches the relevant team.
Thanks again for taking the time to share this with us - feedback like this really helps us keep improving Up Learn 🚀💚

uplearn is the only resource you need to study
uplearn is singlehandedly the best resource out there for a levels. without it i doubt i wouldve gotten 3 a*s . i say this because every explanation was very simple and easy to understand , and the mini questions they had after each video was so amazing and the memory recall questions were so good for solidifying my memory. the exam questions were challenging and similar to the real exams allowing me to get a real feel of what the exam would be like . and the mock set papers are so accurate to the real papers , it allowed me to answer more questions in timed conditions especially since i was finished all exam papers for my subjects. i remember the maths explanation were so amazing and it helped go from an a to an a* , mainly because of how much questions uplearn made me complete for each set . and i must mention the quality of the videos as well , just wow . also the communication with team members was amazing , they all responded within a day whenever there was a problem . cant thank this website enough for allowing me to achieve 3 a*s

Super helpfull if you put in the regular hours.
Very detailed and in depth, its clear why they guarantee an A/A* given you complete the course. Each lesson is easy to understand and I found it useful that questions I previously got wrong were asked repeatedly and reduced the "memory decay". The only problem i found was finding topics i struggled with in class as everything was only listed in uplearn buy the overall name, instead of specific lessons, as in its hard to find small things you struggled with within the course. You have to just relearn the entire lesson.

My next step possible with Uplearn
Uplearn genuinely made my next steps possible! I will forever be grateful, I got Uplearn at the end of year 12 after getting an E in AS level . I hold my hands up that I did not complete the full course of Uplearn due to various other factors but each part I did complete the lessons were so helpful explaining each part and even went into depth which my teachers did not ( even at a fee paying school which has one of the best results in the country) I have now got a B in my Alevel Maths, which would have not been possible without Uplearn helping me re learn year 1 alongside year 2 content. I would pay again for Uplearn and I will be recommending it to everyone I know! When I look into what I have previously payed for tutors (GCSE) , private school ect Uplearn is very reasonable at the side of this and you still get quality teaching which is unique to your ability. I cannot thank you enough!

Up Learn is a great platform for students. Each topic is broken down into small videos and questions within the video to keep you focused throughout. They also have exam style questions which helped to boost my confidence in the real exams as well as full past papers created by them. In addition the website is very easy to use and I had no trouble at all with it. I used the 3 day free trial and immediately knew this was the kind of website that I needed to help me with my grades.
