It was a short period of experience with Uplevel academy. But the lessons were really helpful.

Kellie has the Midas touch.
She encourages her students to do better. The class size is reasonable as every learner gets a chance to participate in the session.
Her lessons are pretty organised and well-focussed.
Her feedback is quite detailed.Homework is always marked promptly.
She is very polite and patient.

I recommend Uplevel academy early in the cycle for GCSE English. My son was not getting very good marks in English. He scored 3 in English language and 4 in English literature. Although he just joined Uplevel very late but in a matter of just 3 months, through strategic guidance and extensive practice he was able to elevate his scores from a 3 to 6.
I want to thank Kellie and the teachers for their support in this transformation.

I like Up-level Academy because my daughter after taking one-month classes, she becomes more confident in English and can speak up to answer the questions. She enjoys the practices with quick feedback as well.

My son has always enjoyed English and was content that he was doing ok in the subject. He was comfortable but was not meeting his potential. In Kellie’s English class he has gained new skills which he is incorporating in his school work and is now in top set! His lessons with Kellie are informative, interactive and relaxed. He now recognises that there is a whole new level to English he was not meeting before but with Kellie’s help he is on track to have excellent results but also knows he is working to his full potential!

My son joined the summer programme and has continued with Kellie’s English classes. He is now in Year 10 and realised that he needed to get serious about English as he has always been stronger in Maths.

I am so pleased to say that he has made so much progress in the past few months. Not only has he in grown in confidence when it comes to English but the strategies he has learnt in Kellie’s classes has seen him receive excellent feedback from his English teacher at school.

In just a few months Kellie helped our daughter move up a whole grade. Her teaching style is consistent and inclusive.

It’s hard to explain the kindness and care Kellie takes in explains, engaging and helping kids to understand what at first glance seems complicated and convoluted into, quite literally, plain English. She’s warm, engaging and offers really great feedback too. And my daughter has adhd and autism and she was able to explain in a way that would resonate with her, and I can also say it’s clever by how simple it makes things - and it works! I recommend whole-heartedly.

Kelly has been an amazing tutor for my Son and tutored him for his GCSE.My Son was at grade 6 when he joined Up Level academy. With Kelly's brilliant tutoring as well as mentoring,my Son has secured a 9 and 8 in GCSE English literature and language respectively.

Kellie is an exceptional tutor and I’m so grateful she was recommended to us. Kellie only had a few months working with our son before his GCSE English exams but during this time you could see his confidence grow with each lesson. Kellie is very dedicated to her students, her lessons are engaging, she is patient and encouraging and gets all her students to contribute in the lessons. She gives video feedback to every single piece of homework and her library of lessons and homework is a really great resource. Kellie really goes the extra mile by making herself available to students and parents between lessons to answer any questions, to give extra help and give reassurance to the students and parents!
