I cannot praise Kellie and Uplevel Academy enough. She gave my son so much hope and confidence for his GCSE's. He joined Uplevel after getting a low grade for his mocks. With Kellie's help he was able to go from a 4 to a 6 within a matter of weeks. She has given him so much knowledge and amazing strategies to use for his work. Whilst sitting his GCSE exam he was calm and went into the exams with total confidence thanks to Kellie's approach to teaching. Kellie is kind and attentive to her students and she gives great feedback on the work they submit. Since joining uplevel my son's predicted grade is now an 8 for English literature and a 7 for language. For anyone thinking of joining Uplevel Academy please know you are in great hands with Kellie. She has supported me and my son more than I can possibly have imagined. I will definitely be signing my daughter up once she is at GCSE level. I was taught by Miss Kellie for a number of years and she was an excellent teacher that sent really useful resources to me outside of our lesson time. She helped me with GCSE and A level English Literature in which I achieved an A and A* respectively. I couldn’t recommend a more upstanding teacher

When searching for a tutor to prepare my daughter for the 11+, Kellie came highly recommended from a friend.

Kellie is the type of teacher you wished you had at school. She's patient, makes discussions thought provoking and most importantly puts the child at ease.
My daughter felt very comfortable with her and even though she may have had some errors in her homework her video feedback was excellent. She's never one to just give a tick, she does make the effort in giving constructive feedback for them to "uplevel" their work and where they have gone wrong and offers great examples of how to improve it. This made the learning experience better. My daughter was able to do this at her own pace and go back to her notes from the class to rectify anything that needed doing.

Kellie knew my daughters weaknesses from the initial assessment, so knew where she needed the extra help and worked on it together. She was always happy to answer any of our concerns via email or have a video call and updated us on our daughter's progress.

Our experience with Uplevel Academy is nothing but a positive one and we have recommended them to our family and friends.

My daughter has been working with Kellie since the end of last year. Approachable and friendly when your child is struggling, by both my daughter and myself, the layout of classes are easy to follow. Challenges are set and worked towards, as a team, but still the individuality of each student is recognized worked upon using strengths to build on the weaknesses. My daughter has had so much fun learning, with up level academy, she has enjoyed her own success that she achieved with new English skills and techniques provided, as well as hearing the success of fellow students. There is so much joy of seeing my daughter recieving grades she is herself proud of. Learning is no longer a hardship battle of getting her to study, not only has up level academy given my daughter new skills in the class room, but also structure in personal studies which allows her to give her personal time structure too.
I never thought that when I put her into up level academy she would gain more than, better English grades.

I have loved to learn with Uplevel academy. My teacher is truly amazing as she explains the concept pretty well. It has helped me a lot with my studies even at school. The only thing I would say to improve on is maybe teaching the deeper content of essays like the paragraphs in the middle.

Kellie has been an amazing teacher. She has helped our son currently in Year 6 with his English comprehension and creative writing. She listens to what he has wanted to cover and is flexible in adjusting content. Kellie has a lot of useful resources which are helpful and her friendly approach has helped bring the best out of our son. For the 11 plus grammar school exams our child successfully passed all the stages for Sutton, Wilson and Wallington. He was offered a academic scholarship at Kingston Grammar and was successful in receiving an offer for Tiffin which was our first choice. We are very happy to have Kellie as our tutor and recommend her!

Kellie has been great in preparing our son for the 11+ English and Verbal Reasoning exams. English was his least strongest subject and he ultimately scored highest and well into the top 10% range for some of the schools. Classes are delivered online in groups which makes them accessible and affordable to a wide range of local families. We have been working with Kellie for many years, first to help my son to pass very difficult senior school exams and now my daughter is working with Kellie to improve her confidence in English. For the past 4 years our Sunday mornings are blocked for Kellie and neither of them ever mind joining her lessons. She makes them fun (as much as possible) and she makes them at ease. Kellie is a very thoughtful teacher who puts a lot of thought and effort into her lessons, which are engaging, useful, and she is very patient with everyone in class always encouraging students to try.She has an amazing way of breaking things down so that they are understandable. Kellie is brilliant tutor. She always goes tge extra mile to help each child. We never go any resistance from our son prior to any of Kellie’s lessons, unlike with other tutors.
