We call it an internship programme because it is designed to simulate real work experience, participants complete industry style projects, receive mentor feedback, and collaborate in teams, but it is not the same as employment.
Participants are not working for our company or for other companies. Instead, they gain practical experience through guided projects, live mentor sessions, and engagement in an active Discord community for peer learning and resource sharing. The programme fee covers access to these structured learning resources, mentor time, project reviews, and community support, it is not a fee to “work”.

Misleading
I applied through LinkedIn but nowhere in the post said you, the intern, has to pay for the course. I received an email stating I had been shortlisted, but further down in the email it said I needed to pay £59. Completely misleading, who is going to pay to complete an internship course?

Highly motivational course 👏🏼
As a person with present experience in Python EDA and ML modeling, I found this course highly rewarding because of how strongly it pushes you to do more in a short period of time. Taking it in summer stimulated my brain to stay active and uncover new material daily. I must say, people who plan to take this course must prepare to research and self learn, as every lecture is fundamental and additional effort must be put in to achieve high results.

Great experience with UpTrail internship program!
I recently completed my business analyst internship with UpTrail and it was a valueable experience. The weekly mentor led live sessions were interactive and well structured, giving me an insight into the SQL, Agile and waterfall. I particularly appreciate the project we had to do on a real world project which allowed me to apply what I was learning and built confidence in my abilities.
Over all I would recommend this programme to anyone looking to gain hands on experience and a self learning experience and strengthen their portfolio.

I applied on LinkedIn with the understand that it was a unpaid internship. However, it's actually a course and they actually expect you to pay them for certification and administration costs. This four-week remote internship programme, commencing on Friday, 18th July, is designed to provide you with genuine hands-on experience, supported by an experienced mentor. You will take part in live group sessions every Friday at 10:00 AM BST, along with separate live review sessions for weekly projects. In addition, you’ll complete self-paced tasks each week to help build your confidence and develop your skills in data analysis.
Each session is also recorded and shared with all participants afterward, so if you are unable to attend a live session, you will still have full access to the content. This helps ensure flexibility, especially for those in different time zones or with personal commitments.

The course was delivered well, with details of approaches that are used in Data Analysis. The interview questions were useful and the feedback on coursework was informative. A lot was covered in 4 weeks. I found that, overall it prepared me for further learning in the field

Why would someone pay to intern or be part of internship. This was not mentioned when they post the internship. It was simply mentioned voluntary internship which is okay but paying to learn is just like purchasing a certificate
