I ordered this 10 days ago and it has…
I ordered this 10 days ago and it has been in suspended shipping since the 19th. I reached out to Sentia and they said to wait until the 27th to see if things move on the shipping side. While I agreed and it is only the 26th - I still don’t have the product. I’ve been getting marketing emails and requests to review the product and I don’t even have it yet. Just frustrating and I don’t like the inactivity on Sentia’s part while waiting to see if it magically shows up.

The first night it seemed like it was…
The first night it seemed like it was relaxing the second night it didn’t seem to do much. For $50 I’m afraid it’s just not worth it. I’m looking for an alcohol alternative and I’m afraid this just isn’t it. I’m also still not sold on the taste either. It wasn’t horrible. I like fruity flavored things. This wasn’t all that fruity.

We love the natural approach to this…
We love the natural approach to this product. The ordering was easy, and it was delivered in a timely fashion. It is a tad on the expensive side. We like the Gold the best as it is easiest to mix for a enjoyable flavorful drink. The Red and Black are very intense flavors and we're finding it harder to mix with something that makes the drink enjoyable from a flavor standpoint.

Alcohol is cheap to mass produce, making a bottle of SENTIA Spirits is a complex process. Our ingredients contain high quality functional plant botanicals such as Ashwagandha, Tulsi, Sage, Nigerian Ginger root and more sourced from fair-trade suppliers around the world. SENTIA Spirits cost more to put on-shelf, than a premium alcohol spirit does.

Not for me
Where do I start?
As I sit here having my 3rd drink, the effects are... Minimal. It is relaxing, and I don't hate the feeling, but it's not like a gentle buzz as you might get with an alcoholic drink. I think the company has done a poor job managing expectations. The copy paste responses to negative reviews sort of make my case.
The flavor of the black is needlessly complex. I'm not one to be picky about flavor normally but this is just obtuse. Its like spiced rum got mixed with Jaeger and random flowers. Pick a direction. I tried a few different mixers but nothing works that well. The best was ginger ale which made it more like a ginger beer. It has a similar burn to a ginger beer naturally, but adding in the other flavors just doesn't work.
The back of the bottle says to not have more than 100ml in a 24 hour period. Well 100ml basically did nothing. Now after about 300ml I can feel a relaxing sensation not at all like a buzz I've ever had while drinking. It's mostly just making me tired. The total opposite of the description. I feel un-energetic, sort of lethargic, and ready for bed. Perhaps that's because I drank too much. I waited approximately 20 minutes after my first glass for any feeling at all.
Overall for the money, this is barely a novelty to me. With shipping, which uses USPS in the US, it's a $50 bottle of disappointment. They really should offer other shipping options at the price they charge. This could actually just be a supplement instead of a drink. I would probably buy that just so I could take it before bed.
Branding this as a spirit is really a disservice to what it actually is. As I write this review I have nearly killed the whole bottle chasing the feeling I would rather have from and alcoholic drink.

We are sorry to hear that SENTIA did not meet your expectations. As is the case with many things in life, certain drinks/foods are just not for everyone. This is true for taste and in the case of SENTIA also effect. Our body chemistries are all very individual in nature and the response SENTIA creates will therefore be different. SENTIA only stimulates the natural GABA receptors in the brain to promote relaxation and sociability and has a ceiling effect. Therefore you will not necessarily "feel more" the more you drink.
SENTIA is indeed classed a food supplement which is why we don't recommend you exceed the suggested daily amount. SENTIA is made up with very concentrated botanicals and the taste can be challenging for some palates.
We do, however, have many regular customers who absolutely love the taste of SENTIA and get the desired effect from our products.

The bottle and labeling are beautiful
The bottle and labeling are beautiful, it gave the feeling of something substantial, deserving of a home in the liquor cabinet.
I served it in a fine glass as one might serve digestifs which involve sipping, as they often have an herbal flavor profile that encourages slowly savoring the drink.
The flavor was absolutely reminiscent of bitters and I found it quite satisfying and relaxing.
It has a preservative in it, though, and I don't think the label said whether it needed to be refrigerated after opening.

The taste is not bad
The taste is not bad. However, I was hoping to get the feel of drinking at least one beer. I felt nothing even close. I would love to substitute it for alcohol, but it is not strong enough for me. I would just feel like I was drinking fruit juice.

Individual variances: Your GABA system is very much your own, and individual chemistry varies from person to person, so the experience of SENTIA will vary too.
Alcohol in system: Regular alcohol drinkers may have a high tolerance to GABA release, which will moderate the SENTIA experience. Studies suggest that you can reset your tolerance to GABA release by refraining from drinking for 2 to 3 weeks.
SSRI’s: (Selective Serotonin Inhibitors) anti-psychotics, tranquillisers and some epileptic medications may inhibit the effects of SENTIA.
Expectations: SENTIA is not designed to get you “drunk”, but offer a more refined experience. All feelings are of course very subjective, and will vary from person to person.
Context: There is a great deal of scientific evidence indicating that drinking (or talking any mind altering substance) alone creates a very different effect from doing so socially. The science suggests the same will be true with SENTIA.
Have you tried GABA Gold which has a slightly stronger effect?

The Gold is great. I personally do not enjoy the red or the black as much. I wish there were a few additional choices.
