Something is seriously amiss with how this company tricks people into using them. I entered the name of the county and state in my initial Google search, followed by “death certificates”, and this US Vital Records website opened. I assumed, like most people probably do, that this company was the third party vendor the county and state used. After I paid them$74, I discovered that fee was only for them to “review” my application, which I would then print out, mail to the county and state, and pay the fee that county and state actually charges! WTF? So this company pays Google to put them first in your search, and I’m sorry, that MUST be illegal, especially when this company DOES NOT ACTUALLY SUPPLY ANY VITAL RECORDS!! How are they in business? Everyone on Trustpilot needs to report this company to their state’s attorney general and eventually all the attorneys general will sue to have them shut down! Please be proactive and don’t let scammers like this get rich! Plus if I recall, their online “application” asks for a lot of personal information that they are definitely selling to make even more money! Like Americans don’t have enough problems in their lives right now! Screw USVITALRECORDS and let’s get them shut down!

I was searching for marriage and divorce certificates, which led me to this one. I ordered and paid all fees. I have not heard anything from them. Don't be led to this site, go the State you are seeking these documents from.

USVitalRecords.org Site is a spoof of VitalChek (legit vital records processing website that partners with states), and has paid Google to be the top search entry, above VitalCheck. Website is almost exactly identical to VitalChek (even the pictures match) and data entry was identical, but charged a $125 fee vs $15 that VitalChek charges. After personal information was entered and fee paid, site disclosed that we would have to pay the state a separate fee, which is where we figured out it was a scam. Requested refund from their site (not likely) and also disputed the CC charge with card issuer.

This is the worst scam ever! The did absolutely nothing for a total of $185! I didn’t realize that this was a third party. They are deceiving and fraudulent. When asked for a refund they refused. I paid for expedited shipping and they did not forward that to my state but again, I thought this was a legitimate, safe website. We need to start a class action!! They are liars and cheats.

I messed up and completed their online form. Now they have all my vital records information.
I want my money back but more importantly the have my social security number and other vital records information

This company is a scam. They essentially only forwarded my information to the correct website, VitalChek, and charged me $125.00 for doing so. When I contacted the Colorado Department of Public Health, they said they had never heard of this company. When I finally contacted VitalChek, I was told I still needed to pay the actual $39.00 fee to order my birth certificate. In other words, the $125.00 was simply a fee to forward my request to VitalChek and did not include the actual birth certificate application fee.

This site is a scam after ordering a document we never received anything and as a follow up they answer the first email and then give you information to a legitimate document company who knows nothing about your order. The second inquiry is never answered and the email bounces back. Total Scam!!!

Total scam. You pay for multiple documents and then they populate the form you need to fill out and submit to your state office where you have to pay for the documents again. Don't get scammed like I did.

US Vital Records is very expensive and very slow and difficult to contact. Do not use them!

I couldn't even leave a simple voice message. Everything has to be done through their website. I canceled my order but God knows whether they will do it or not. I am very dissatisfied.

This is a total scam. They charge you a fee and then give you nothing in return. Then when you ask for a refund they will not give your money back. So they basically scam me for $137.

This website is a scam.

They charge me $158 for a birth certificate. Instead of providing the birth certificate, they redirected me to VitalCheck.com and asked I pay their service fee as well. You can just go to VitalCheck.com and pay $38 and get your birth certificate and NEVER have to use this website. It's fraudulent and misleading. I am currently asking for a refund, but have not received one. Instead, I am getting pushback from customer service. This is false advertising.

My wife was mislead by what she saw on usvitalrecords.org into ordering 3 birth certificates for $305. Then, since from what we could tell all they did for their $$ was pass us to vitalchek, we realized we'd have to pay the Vitalcheck service fee (a reasonable $13), then pay the fee to the North Dakota Dept of Health Services ($45).

I immediately filed a dispute with the credit card company, noting that though usvitalrecords.org said in their communications that there may be a 2nd charge from the government agency processing the records request, the company said nothing about a fee from another private company that we'd be passed to.

While we waited for a decision on our dispute, I order the 3 birth certificates directly from North Dakota Health & Human Services for a total cost of $45.

In 35 days the dispute was resolved in our favor and we got all our money back.

I understood I was paying extra to use the service of US Vital Records knowing they were a middle man instead of directly ordering from the state dept ONLY because they offered fed ex shipping from AK. The first time I ordered my birth certificate directly through the state, my certificate got lost in USPS mail. The state online agency clearly has this problem often as their website states they are not responsible for lost mail and will not offer refunds. So after 6 months of dealing with USPS to find my missing certificate with no success, I really needed my birth certificate and was reluctant to use the same method as the first. So when I saw US Vital Records offered FedEx shipping I was willing to not only pay the extra shipping charge but the services of this third party vendor to get my document. HOWEVER, when my certificate finally did ship and I received tracking it was through USPS and not FedEx. I contacted US Vital Records and was informed it’s up to the state agency how they ship and US Vital Records cannot control that. So why then is it an option on their webpage? No response from this fraudulent company. DO Not use them.

I wish they had a 0. They don’t even deserve a 1. You can’t call them. Yes, they answer but you get a recording that instructs you to email them. I ordered ONE Birth Certificate for my son, who is out of the country and needed it ASAP. They charged me $196.75. I’m trying like hell to cancel the order and get reimbursed. YES, they need to be shut down.
GO TO YOUR LOCAL DMV. THEY GIVE IT TO YOU RIGHT THERE. NO WAITING AND IT ONLY COSTS $14.00

Received nothing. Won't give me money back. Charged tons more than it should cost. Ordered on April 21st and today is May 15th. Paid extra to get this fast. No links provided in emails work.

Price gouging at its finest. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!

Total scam. You pay them over $100 and they keep saying they need more information. They will not give you a refund after 14 days. Even though they haven't sent anything. DO NOT USE THE THEIVES. The better business bureau should shut them down.

Obviously capitalizing on people not paying attention, they provide no value added service.
