Incorrect description meant 460 miles and half a day wasted. On top of that £700 recovery cost.

Faulty tyre
When you purchase a van from here. Make sure spare tyre is actually road worthy!! Husband got a puncture in van on the motorway. Took the spare from the wheel carrier and that had a puncture also. The amount of money we paid for the van we expect the safety checks to be done before we bought it. I work for Northgate and this is ex rental van. I’m in charge of the courtesy’s cars at my branch and this is one of the checks I have to do! Not impressed!

Do not buy from van monster
Do not buy from van monster, they sell unroadworthy vehicles and do not like taking responsibility when it comes to carrying out repairs.
A child nearly died as a direct result in a vehicle being unfit for the road that was sold by them.
They go under the name NORTHGATE VEHICLE HIRE, and VAN MONSTER.
