RAC Vehicle History Check Avis

Very good 👍 👏

Absolutely terrible experience.
I booked a vehicle comprehensive check for 5 october 2026 and received 2 emails. Not one of them clearly stated the appointment time. You have the confirmation just with the date what you booked.

I booked for 10 am because I knew i can't attend before 10am due to my school run . Yet on the day an private number called me and ask me where I am because the appointment is at 9am and not 10am.
I called many times the number what they provided in the email confirmation with option 2 exactly how they said in email. No one answered.

If you book with RAC, make sure you personally confirm the exact appointment time. This cost me £312 because their fault + renting the platform at the garage. So they called me at 10:20 am ( when I was waiting at the garage together withe the manager from the garage being shocked what they did) telling me my appointment is cancelled because I was not there at 9 am and I lose my money.

I did an complain in the same day via phone number what they gave from the office but I never received an reference number. Because the car was licensed by council i needed the reference number for my case. I called next day and I asked why I didn't received my reference number for the complain and Surprised they said nothing was registered yesterday. So I had to explain the situation again next day to costumer care. Finally I received my reference number CC60555632 what was sent to Council.

Now I regret not booking with AA

Provided good detail, was nice and quick. Allowing you to download the report aswell as send it to your email. I would recommend.

Best service

The online check is really quick, and the website runs smoothly without any lag. The report is also easy to download, which makes the whole process simple and convenient.

Very simple & quick to do a vehicle history check with RAC. I did a full check on the car I was considering buying and it came back within about 30 seconds - great for that extra peace of mind before making a big purchase! The RAC member discount was a great bonus too!

I found it was well worth paying for my vehicle check as it tells you everything about the vehicle that we should be aware of, it gives peace of mind knowing that everything is above board.

Excellent service from the AA engineer (Mike) and also the AA. The service was first class, quick and I was kept informed. Mike was a gentleman to speak to and I thank him for a through vehicle check on the

Easy to access, quick to submit, and full of useful information at a very reasonable price for peace of mind!

Really easy to arrange and great to have a reputable company providing vehicle check information. Good price as well

Quick and easy

Trusted supplier and great prices plus quick service

Very easy to complete and result was immediate.

Quick and efficient giving total peace of mind before a motorcycle purchase.

Not a great experience, site kept trying to upgrade my purchase of a basic check for £14.99. I kept opting to stick with the basic check but when I payed, I was charged £29.97 for a multi vehicle check with I didn't want. I know its my fault for not checking and double checking before paying but the site is obviously built to try and catch you out. Wouldn't recommend, free options are probably as good.

Easy to use system to get all the information I required on various vehicles.
