No response from customer service Warranty issue
I purchased a Haibike Alltrack 7 plus accessories from Velondo.ie. It was well priced and arrived about a week late (due to some of the accessories not being in stock). We were very happy with the condition, quality and price of the bike.
However after a number of weeks, while my son was riding the bike, the rear axle worked its way loose, which resulted in the Derailler detaching from the bike, causing the derailler hanger to break, damage to the chain, axle, frame paintwork and a slight buckle in the rear wheel.
I emailed Velondo initially and received no response, then raised a ticket on their Fahrrad customer portal, attached photographs of the damage and CCTV footage of the incident , and requested replacement parts to repair the bike under warranty.
Again no response, I updated the ticket a further 2 times with no response. To date I have received no communication from Velondo \ Fahrrad whatsoever.
I would at this point just return the whole bike but with shipping cost in excess of €200 I purchased the parts elsewhere and will repair the bike locally.
So in short if you are looking for a well priced bike and don't expect any customer service for warranty etc afterwards then Velondo.ie \ Fahrrad may be for you.
