Visited Ford Newcastle on Saturday which turned out to be a disaster, considering the reputation Ford Newcastle have, I did not experience anything positive.
I had attended on friday to discuss test driving a van due to wanting to sell my current and one and hopefully upgrade. I spoke to a man who kindly arranged a test drive the following morning at 10:15am and stated he would give me a valuation for my current vehicle part exchange. I received an email and text confirmation also. I arrived at Ford Newcastle on Saturday at 10:05am, spoke to the man at the reception area and he proceeded to direct me to another member of staff to sort the test drive.
Once speaking with man he stated that not only can he not see anything under my name in the system but that also the vehicles I requested to test drive and received confirmation for, were booked out to another customer. Not one was available considering I wanted to test drive hybrid / petrol / diesel / fully electric vans. I was turned away. Not only was this completely unacceptable considering I had confirmation of the booking but I had turned down work on that day to attended Ford for a complete waste of time. The man who told me the vehicles were not available did not give me any other options for booking in another test drive or when the vans may be available. I was simply given nothing. Shocking customer service. I will not be returning back. Review has been written to ensure no other customer receives the shocking and unacceptable service I did.

There were a couple of problems with the service plan and the car registration but these were resolved quickly.
I found Manu a very pleasant and professional man and enjoyed dealing with him.

I went into Ford on the 13th May, regarding the driver seat stitching coming apart on my Ford Explorer that was only a year old with under 11,000 miles to see if they could help me with a replacement under warranty. I spoke to the service manager who took photos and some details who said they would contact Ford and I should hear back in a couple of days.
After not hearing back from anyone I called Ford on the 19th May and was informed the service manager was off, the person I spoke to took my details and said they would leave a note for a callback the next day.
After not hearing anything again I called back on the 21st May, and spoke to the service manager again and who said they were still waiting for Ford to get back to them (8 days after the 2 day estimate)
It’s now been an additional week, the 28th May, and I still haven’t heard anything back. Not a single update, not an end in sight to something that could be resolved fairly easily. Instead the issue is getting worse the longer it goes on.
It’s the second time I’ve dealt with this location and have been left disappointed both times, the service department seems to suffer with providing basic service.
Update: 28th May, I’ve had a call from the service manager Scott, who has said Ford has approved the new seat cover but we’re not sure when it might be arriving in store and will let me know.
I will update further as it goes and adjust the rating accordingly.

Wonderful young man, Adil, showed me the car I wanted,
As they knew I was going, it was ready for me to see & test drive. Couldn't fault the service, from Adil, His manager Jonny & the girls on customer service desks.. Everyone was so polite & friendly, nothing too much trouble. Would have given them 10 stars.
We were also offered tea & coffee.
My car is lovely, very clean, inside & out, great to drive.
Thank you all so much. will definitely recommend. :) x
