Still waiting for my refund
There are cancellation fee and gateway charges for flight which we didn't plan to cancel. Have been waiting for the remaining refund since March 2020. And now just gotten another reply indicating it will take another 10 to 12 weeks to receive the refund. Each response takes weeks and even a month each time. Would have gotten a full refund if it was a direct purchase. Highly not recommended.

I have booked air ticket through via.com. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I have to cancel the booking. Via.com refunded the air ticket fee to me (excluding the transaction and cancellation fee, which is understandable). I am feeling really grateful because I understand that the outlook for the aviation and travelling market has not been good, yet via.com has been very helpful in processing the refund for affected customers like me. I will definitely support via.com in the future. I hope that via.com and the rest of the travel industry will get through this hardship and continue to stay strong.

Awful - wish i would've looked at reviews before signing up. So many things they did wrong. First off their follow up is garbage. Second off they send automatic messages to your clients at 3 in the morning - by clients I mean all 350+ of them. They are garbage. Seriously terrible. When you want to talk to somebody with some owner ship, he doesn't reach out. I was made so many promises that were never delivered. What else?? Oh! They outsource their stuff to the Philippines and DON'T TRAIN THEM! So someone who works in the Philippines wants to tell me how to run my business and what I need to work on next?? Via.com is a Very bad ticketing website among all the website. My flight were cancelled by airline due to covid 19 and i requested to airline for refund and the refund were transfer to via.com. but the cheater via.com had not transfer the amount in to my payment mode account, and made a 100of calls to contact number but no respond and i made call to their main office in bengaluru but no respond as well. via.com is a fraud on line website and never ever book any more tickets through via.com. via.com Id no FMNSG107L9Z4HL & PNR E3ZZTL

Same as everyone else's experience. Our flight got canceled and HK branch would charge us $500 for refund. I was like..ok. That's not too bad, just go ahead. They said it would take 30-45 business days to see the refund on my account. So I waited 9 whole weeks. Nope, still nothing. So I sent them an email again, nothing. I tried to reach them on Facebook, bam! Stopped running. And they did put down a customer service number so I dialed, nope. Of bloody course no one's answering. Doesn't even sound like a standard hotline to me, just ring ring ring, no greetings, no number choosing, just rrrrrrriiiiiinnnnggggg. Okay, you got a hard hit by covid, I respect that. Oh well. Lesson learned. Let's hope they dun get killed by covid before everyone receives the refund they promised.

Had to cancel tickets due to the coronavirus. They said okay and would charge the two of us HKD500 each. Fine. But then after ages of waiting they informed us that they would refund us only HKD2651.85 for our HKD6632.24 purchase. WHAT!? Are you crazy?? Are you out of your mind?? The worst thing is that the Hong Kong branch of via.com only has an email. No phone number. No address. No nothing! Even if I wanted to file a complaint to some kind of authority it would be very hard because this company acts like it doesn't exist in Hong Kong. By the way, I also made another cancellation way earlier and they say they're still processing that cancellation. It was a HKD5990.83 purchase. I wonder how much they will give us back this time?

Customer service for VIA is just non-existant. Worse service I ever came across. I wonder why airline would allow VIA to book ticket with them? It only affect the airline reputation. Anyway, I'll be sending feedback to the airlines to warn them on this VIA portal and suggest them to stop any booking from this company/website.

Yikes! Consumers beware! READ REVIEWS (which are consistently bad for this site), and then move on to a reputable site. I didn’t and paid the price. Booked bus tickets using my debit card, which immediately got debited from my bank account. A while later received email from Via stating: “The booking which you have done is not confirmed due to same seat not available. We have tried reaching you at the number provided, but could not get through to you.Hence we have processed full refund to your ID.” Via DID NOT try reaching me by phone as stated, and the Via contact number provided in the email turned out to be a decoy. Turns out the same seat WAS available, on a different - authentic - site through which I purchased tickets more than 6 hours later. Scam start to finish. Let’s see if the full refund comes: I now must wait 20 working days before even hoping to see it reflected in my bank account. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE. UNLESS, OF COURSE, YOU ARE A COMPULSIVE GAMBLER.

VIA a disgrace to the Canadian People
As an international rail enthusiast I travelled Via 3 years ago and again last year 2019,from Prince Rupert to Toronto. Without doubt the services have become a disgrace. Via's policy of making freight traffic the number 1 priority over passengers is pathetic leading to countless hours stuck in sidings going nowhere. Having been well treated in both Alaska and from Denver to San Francisco I will Never travel Via again. Facilities such as the observation carriage which are free to even economy class passengers, cost an extra $400 in Canada, yet senic views are just as incredible in both Alaska and the Rockies. VIA has totally betrayed the Canadian people who depend on international tourism

Remember this horrible name and never use that service. They never answer on emails. Just informed me about cancellation of my flight and suggested me horrible options. Then dissapeared and didn’t answer me.
Bad service
Bad service. Recently due to Coronavirus, I have decided to cancel my trip and requested assistance for refund on the airport taxes only for facilities that I will not be using. I got a reply from via.com that the penalty from the airline is $100 per/pax and service charge from via.com is $100 per/pax. With the penalty & service charge of $200, this is almost equivalent to my ticket price of $220.
