Gave Victoria James my recently deceased mother’s engagement ring to replace a missing sapphire. Not only did they source & replace the sapphire but cleaned and tightened all the remaining stones. What an amazing job and all within 2 weeks so I can wear the ring again. Excellent service, didn’t break the bank and definitely somewhere I would return to for all my jewellery needs. Replaced a missing diamond in my diamond and sapphire ring. It looks like new as it was when my husband gave it to me 30+ years ago. Fantastic job and posted it back to me to save me a trip into Birmingham.

Exceptionally talented family jewellers. We had rings from my late mom and nan and wanted to turn them into something special for my daughter's 30th birthday. Tyler replaced pearls in a family heirloom locket and repaired a ruby necklace. The necklaces were posted back to me and the work was superb. The advice given to me was excellent and everything was fully explained. There was no hard selling and it exulted in me buying a ring which I am very pleased with. The work was completed within timescales and at a very reasonable cost. They will be my first port of call if I want more jewellery. I can’t thank them enough and highly recommend them.

Great experience working with Tyler and Jeff. They went out of their way to find a diamond and created a beautiful ring for me. They went out of their way to create the ring I wanted and made additional changes to the ring to make sure it was perfect. We will definitely be back and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I had shopped at Victoria James in person 15 years earlier to buy myself a 50th birthday present, at the recommendation of a friend whose mother had worked there. I loved the fact it was a family business and it was an amazing experience. Since then they have redesigned a ring for me and this year I treated myself to another gift to myself via the website and conversations with Taylor. Fabulous personal support and great customer service. Never mind the quality of the jewelry. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I request my engagement, eternity and wedding band to be combined. I was designed a gorgeous ring but on collecting it, it is above my expectations! I nearly cried.
The service given couldn’t be faulted and jeweller really wanted to ensure I was happy. An absolute pleasure to deal with them and couldn’t recommend them more!

I needed 8 rings resized and they all look amazing, like new and sparkling. The service was excellent, professional and friendly. The craftsmanship was outstanding. I am so happy I used them and would highly recommend them.

A friend recommended Victoria James as they had some jewelry work completed and was very pleased.
We visited and I left a gold ring with them to be resized at a very reasonable £130.
I also had a ring left by my mother in law for my daughter that had a diamond missing ( one of three) that I wanted to have replaced.
The gentleman said it was definitely worth doing as the stones were antique diamonds and rather lovely and it would also need a new head as that’s why we had lost a diamond.
I said I would come back to him and then called and agreed for the work to be done, a new head and sourcing a diamond, approx .20 points, to match the other two.
I also asked the young man I spoke to if they would kindly include an evaluation in the £690 charge for the work, he said he would.
When I picked up the ring, which I was pleased with, I asked about the evaluation, the young man said he would email it to me.
A week later I emailed to enquire about the evaluation and received no response.
If they didn’t want to give an evaluation for whatever reason they should have said.
A real shame as now I won’t be recommending them or using their services again.

Geoff redesigned a ring my aunt had given me. It wasn’t an easy ask as he was working with stones of several different sizes but somehow he made them look uniform and I was really happy with the result. He had also previously repaired jewellery for me and I have been equally happy.

I had my 60yr old engagement ring repaired and was thrilled with the result ….even more so because when I asked if it could be repaired by 19th March (my 58th wedding anniversary) they duly obliged.
The staff were very helpful and courteous as I am wheelchair bound.

Me and my husband visited Victoria James after reading reviews. As soon as we walked in and spoke to them we knew we'd chosen the best place to go. I had been given a ring that was my great grandmother's wedding ring with five diamonds. It's over 100 years old and was absolutely tiny for my finger. We wanted it remodelled into a ring that I could wear as an eternity ring with my engagement and wedding ring. I wish I'd got his name, but he was fantastic. He spent time going through the options, drawing out the designs and even polished and resized my engagement and wedding ring. We didn't feel rushed at all and he was friendly and chatty. The atmosphere made it a special experience which is exactly what you want from an eternity ring. We left knowing the ring was in totally safe hands. I was nervous with excitement collecting the ring a week later. We were totally overwhelmed with how the ring is true to its inheritance, but beautiful and modern. I can honestly say it was the best choice of jeweller and if I need anything else in the future I'll be back. Thank you so much for your genius work and creating something so special. Hopefully it will be around for many more years to come and maybe one day I can it to my grsndaughter.

Just visited this great little jewellers in the jewellery quarter. They repaired my wife's engagement ring for a brilliant price, and also polished and reshaped her wedding ring. They could of fleeced me for a new wedding ring but the gentlemen who served us offered to do the work to renew her current ring. Old fashioned customer service at it's best. Will be visiting again soon.

The item chosen was stunning , to our taste and appropriately suitable for purpose .

Having done lots of online background research, Victoria James became the clear choice as the jeweller to create our wedding rings. Both knowing that the rings would be locally made by an ethical business with its traditions properly rooted in the Jewellery Quarter and with gold sourced from a traceable Fairtrade mine, were very important to us. Being novices to jewellery shopping, we were also grateful to be put at our ease by the friendly and knowledgeable staff who made the experience a fun and pleasant one - thank you so much.
