An Attic Attack
We were going on holidays a few weeks ago and I got into the attic to take cases down. To my horror I noticed what I thought was a very large mouse on a trap that I keep up there. (for the occasional little visitor) I removed it and put in more traps. The following evening I noticed every trap had been triggered so I knew I was dealing with something sinister. A couple of days later I caught another but then noticed it wasn't a mouse! Naturally I panicked and was thinking all sorts of things. I took a photo of the rodent and sent it to my wife's uncle for a second opinion and he confirmed my biggest worry. He in turn recommended "Viking Pest Control" to me. I immediately contacted them and Glen called out to me fairly promptly. Glen checked my drain and other potential areas I wouldn't have even considered before going into my attic. Thankfully Glen was able to confirm that I didn't have a rat infestation problem and went about checking my attic and was able to point out the root cause of the problem which points in the direction of a derelict house on my block. Glen went about his business and done what he had to do in my attic to eradicate my problem and thankfully after returning from holiday I haven't noticed anything since. Glen is very knowledgeable about his work and explains everything in detail about habits and nature of rodents (not that it's something we want to hear) but they exist, and he did put our minds at ease! As with all businesses they are all about making money as without money there is no business. What strikes me about Viking Pest Control is more about results! Glen has still been following up with me. Viking is very competitive and I would have no hesitation recommending or calling them again (but hopefully not!!) I cannot thank Glen enough.
