My report done in Canada was worthless. They do not get information from all sources to make your report accurate. They showed no accidents for my vehicle when in fact there had been an asccident (from a Province that they do not get information from!)

First time using VinAudit. Didn’t get the info I was looking for. Contacted the support team. Received not only a timely reply but a refund. .. something totally unexpected but very much appreciated. Something VinAudit did not have to do.

SCAM, no info provided. I know the vehicle i looked at had 3 accidents reported to insurance provider, but nothing was shown on Vin Audit. Instead it gave me the VEHICLE SPECS which you can GOOGLE online for FREE. Reporting this as a scam charge on my credit card.

Edit: Not sure what "more details" VinAudit wants from. 3 accident claims were done on the vehicle, 2 in BC, one in ON (which I pulled through CarFax) this one doesnt even have any sort of connection with Canadian insurance agencies. Not sure what database they are pulling accident history. Only thing i found on VInAudit was vehicle specs which you can Google yourself. TOTAL SCAM

I contacted them because I could not find a way to check a motorcycle VIN, I requested help and Marinel replied immediately, not telling me how to access the option for motorcycles, she asked for the VIN#, and I sent it to her asking how I pay for the report, she replied with the report needed, not asking for any payment, it is not a matter of the price for one single report, is the fact that she helps me right away, something I never expected, thank you very much.

Here is an interesting good news story regarding VinAudit. While interacting with a prospective buyer for a vehicle I had for sale, he asked that I get a vin report to show him before coming to purchase it. Via computer I found VinAudit and paid for a report. While waiting for my report to be emailed, I noticed a scam warning regarding other sites with similar names to this one that take your money and don't provide a report or supply a barebones report with no detail. It got me thinking so I went back to my correspondence with the buyer and saw he had actually specified a certain site (with a similar name) to obtain the report from and I had luckily come across this one by mistake. I researched the buyer's requested site and found that that one was in fact a scam site. Feeling somewhat duped, I contacted VinAudit support, let them know what happened and asked if I could be reimbursed for the report request which in this instance I didn't really need. I am happy to say the pending transaction was cancelled and my credit card was not debited. Very good customer service and greatly appreciated.

I tried it and it was a waste of money. No title info, and no accident info. It just showed the vehicle specifications. Carfax was more money, but showed ownership info, accident history, and more!!

Yes my daughter accidentally used this site (Trustpilot) and we had a breakdown in communication and I ended up being charged for the report my daughter printed. I contacted Trustpilot by email and they were OUTSTANDING, HELPFUL and VERY UNDERSTANDING !!!! I will spread the word everywhere and to anyone who will listen!!! Thanks so much.

Totally useless. I was looking for a specific piece of information about the salvage title. I already knew it had a salvage title just needed one more specific piece of information. Although it showed the accident related to the write off the vehicle, it had nothing regarding it having a salvage title. Aside from noting the 3 claims it had, it had absolutely nothing else regarding the vehicle the basic info that comes with the VIN number. These people shouldn't even be in business. If it were possible to give it a lower rating I would.

Gives you less information than the 1 dollar reviews for ten times the price. Absolutely a fraction of the information is given . Feeling ripped off ..Any maintenance records? And so much more left off. Didn't even give me a option to save the report if you can call it that. But good news, I know where it's manufactured , what a joke

Very helpful in finding issues with owner ship that was not shown on CarFax. Very helpful when I got a call back to explain the report.

As others have called out, there are scams associated with this site and business. I am not accusing them directly, but it's clear that agents/partners are contacting sellers of vehicles and requesting this report before they buy your vehicle. They then never show up and you never hear from them again. This has happened multiple times to me on a couple of vehicles I've sold. If VinAudit is compensating partners for reports that are paid for and generated, then they are promoting this practice and must know it's taking place.

I had issues doing it on line so I called and Marinel in customer service answered all questions ,went over report and emailed to me.

The young lady, Ms Paclian Marinal, Was amazing in helping me make a decision on my Vin check. She was very polite, professional and patience in answering all my questions . I was very impressed.

Just did a vin check on a motorcycle I purchased. I know it's a rebuilt salvage title that was in a collision with a $7k repair bill. Yet this site just told me it's clean!! Absolutely bogus!

I had difficulty with an online inquiry and needed help. The agent who answered my phone call knew exactly what I wanted and was most helpful in getting me the information I needed. She also advised me about other steps I should take on the purchase of a newly imported vehicle. I am very grateful for her help.
