Quick appointment and seen very quickly on the day

The booking process was very straightforward and I got an appointment very easily within the week at a very convenient time on a Sunday evening. The confirmation text message was a little confusing but I cleared this up with a phone call.
I walked into a spotless, very quiet diagnostic centre on the outskirts of Birmingham. I’d already filled in the patient questionnaire so I quickly taken into the preparation area to remove and store my things. Everyone was very polite and welcoming. The MRI bed was prepared for me. It was as comfortable as it could possibly be. I was given earplugs and headphones to muffle and cover up the noise of the machine. It took about 20 minutes in total to take readings from my lower back. The machine can feel claustrophobic but I shut my eyes and tried to imagine myself elsewhere. When I came out I collected my things from the locker and advised that I’d get my results within 3 days. The team there were very helpful.
My GP rang with the results within 2 days and I was referred to the NHS spinal team. I did have to chase the results up to have them sent to me as well but this was done very quickly whilst I was on the phone to Vista Health.
Overall a very good experience but frustrating to see an empty diagnostic centre knowing there are so many waiting long periods of time on the NHS for an MRI.

I booked my CT (3 areas) after having a referral from one of their Dr's as my GP was reluctant to send me for one and the waiting list I was put on for a Gastroentlogist apt was 32 wks waiting time...I had a few health concerns I wanted checking out and also for peace of mind as during the last 3 yrs 2 of my sons have been diagnosed with cancer and this was something I couldn't ignore.
From start to finish the service I recieved from Vista Health was outstanding! From my consultation to booking my CT a couple of days later and my report 3 days after was remarkable. Even my follow up apt to go through my scan was very detailed and reassuring in great depth thanks to Dr Kai Ng. My scan was done at the South Birmingham diagnostic centre and the staff were very kind and understanding, I felt so comfortable and at ease the whole time. I did have some findings on my scan that explained my health issues and a couple of recommendations for follow up investigations so this was so worth doing. I would definitely recommend this service to everyone.Thank you and I will definitely be booking my follow up scan.

Unfortunately there was a problem with one of the scanners - which caused quite a long wait. All finally went well. 🙂

Good professional service , results were prompt and the cost was reasonable

so quick & simple once i got the referral from my GP,sent it & was called back next day appt made for 5 days later,couldve had appt for 3 days but time wasnt right,went for MRI on wed,had results on the friday,all done in a week,just waiting to my Dr next week to discuss.The staff were brilliant,were reassuring & made me feel quite calm,was my first time & unsure what to expect,except what id read. Parking was very close & free,got there earlier than needed but didnt have to wait long,very friendly reception,almost forgot to say the price i paid was very competetive,having looked around.
