Our instructor is the highlight
Our instructor, Jackie, is awesome! She is the highlight. The pool is also lovely (and warm).
Otherwise, lessons are frequently cancelled, the changing room is grubby and often not well equipped for babies. Catch up lessons are nigh impossible to arrange and there is little empathy from office staff.

We appreciate you sharing your feedback. It is great to hear that our instructor is awesome and the pool is lovely and warm. We apologise regarding the cancellations which we appreciate are frustrating and sadly were due to issues out of our control, which we have addressed with the school. Regarding the condition of the changing rooms we have provided the school with some baby change tables which they have yet to put up, and have flagged the need for the changing rooms to be refurbished, which we have also offered to contribute to so are hopeful works will happen over the summer break. So sorry regarding difficulties you've experienced with catch-up lessons - we are actively reviewing these areas and will look into your comment regarding your interaction with our admin staff. Wouldn’t go anywhere else !!
My little one has been swimming with Water Babies since he was 6 weeks old. It has made him so confident, his coordination is really good for his age and he recognises some sign language (as these are apart of his lessons). I wouldn’t take him anywhere else! Also it is really convenient if i have holiday as the parent portal is really easy to use and to book a catch up for a day that’s convenient for me. Everyone on the team is so friendly and helpful they can’t do enough, thank you so much !

We love water babies and have been…
We love water babies and have been using them since my son was 3 months old and he is 3 years now. Katherine is great with my son and he loves his lessons with her. The only downfall is that they are the most expensive lessons in the area. We just find it hard to leave because of Katherine and her rapport with my son. Office staff are always quick to respond to queries and helpful and polite. Again, it would be great if we didn’t have to ask for the swim badges at each stage and they were handed to us at the lessons or posted out without having to ask.

Brilliant instructor
Emily is great ! The children adore her ! Waterbabies is very exspensive compared to another local swim lesson provider, however I feel that Emily does provide that level of teaching that I don’t feel we would get from another class. If however, we were to loose Emily I feel the other aspects of waterbabies such as pricing, poor facilities at the brainwave centre (having to park in a near by muddy layby and cross a very busy road whilst trying to carry a baby/ small child ( sometimes in the rain) , hairdryers, shower facilities, changing facilities may lead to us looking for another provider. I don’t feel the price per lesson reflects the standard of facilities at brainwave but does currently reflect the level of Emily’s instruction.

Thank you so much for your lovely review - we have to agree, Emily is amazing. We do pride ourselves at having the most trained and qualified teachers in the business. Our teachers really do go above and beyond for every lesson that takes place. We're very lucky to say that all of our teachers hold a level 3 diploma qualification and all give a magical 30 minutes to the incredible families that we get to teach. We're so pleased that you can see that. The Brainwave Centre is a hydrotherapy pool at 34'c and on weekdays, we do have to allow their own families to use the on-site car park, so sorry for this inconvenience, but we're glad there is space to park just outside. If it would make you feel comfortable, you're welcome to use a pram and leave it in the entrance foyer. If we can help in anyway, we're here to assist. Thank you for a special mention to Emily, it is so appreciated. Love Water Babies x

I normally dont leave reviews my child enjoys waterbabies hes been attending since he was 9 months old jenny has been great. They thing i am disappointed is sometimes my payment is late which can happen for a number of reasons but the emails i get arent overall nice the last one i got wasnt very nice they said they would remove my child from the class!! even no i emailed them and explained!!

The best money you could ever spend.
My baby started at 8 weeks and initially struggled a lot in the water. My instructor, Lucy, was patient and understanding and really made me feel comfortable as a very new mum that a baby crying and taking a while to get used to the lessons is totally normal. Water babies is the most well thought out, brilliant programme and I absolutely love it. My little girl doesn’t cry at all now and is brilliant in the water, getting better week on week. Lucy takes the time to check in and make sure everybody is comfortable. She explains everything so well. I would recommend water babies to absolutely anybody. It’s the best thing I have ever done, the best money I have ever spent and the most worthwhile thing to do.

Honestly, we love our weekly swim lessons. Our daughter is 6 months old now and we’ve been going since 8 weeks. She’s improving leaps and bounds and I’m not sure who enjoys it more me or her! Lorna is a fabulous tutor!

This is an excellent swim class, I’d recommend to any parent. The instructors are great and caring. They teach kids to swim in a safe environment from a really young age!

Great teachers, but…
While the instructors here are fantastic and highly skilled, the facility itself leaves a lot to be desired. Cleanliness is severely lacking, and basic amenities like hairdryers are missing. To make matters worse, taking a shower after swimming is impossible because the water temperature is stuck on scalding hot. It’s a shame the facility doesn't match the high quality of the staff

Would recommend.
Water Babies is amazing, my little one loves it. It has given me confidence to be in the water with her. Hannah our teacher is so lovely and we are learning lots. It is a little pricey, but definitely worth every penny.
