Webcatalog is a total scam. I paid $60 for 1 year of access to more than 2 apps. However, after the 7 day trial ended I lost access to more than 2 apps. I have contacted them multiple times, including sending a copy of my receipt of payment, but they do not respond. There should be a government agency that holds bad actors like these accountable and block them for scamming more people. Stay away from Webcatalog.
Left a bug where i now have dead entries in openWith menu
Purchased, downloaded and attempted install on Nov 6th. Discovered their software isn't compatible with my ios and my computer is no longer able to update to newer versions. I immediately contacted support requesting they cancel my account as I can't use it. No reply. Then on November 13th they sent me an email saying that as of Nov 12th my trial period was over and they were billing me. I send support another message now requesting a refund and explained why. Crickets!!! It's now Dec 5th and still nothing. They do not answer their support emails.
Update: Dec 5th. Two hours after my 4th attempt whereby I advised I would be leaving negative reviews on all social media platforms, I was advised a refund has been processed.

Software which promises to install websites as apps in Windows and macOS.
The apps they show on the homepage are default plugins in web browsers such as Google Chrome or are simply websites such as YouTube.
If you often visit these websites just add the shortcuts to your favourites in your browser.
The webcatalog homepage reads at the beginning: "Turn websites into desktop apps". This is something each well-known browser can do with each website.
Hence, this software doesn't do anything which you can't do with your browser.
Therefore, it should be clear from the first reading on this website that this software is nonsense.
What it actually installs isn't clear. Perhaps ransomware? Just stay clear from it and don't install it.
The constant updates disrupts the flow altogether.

No support (only this useless AI)! They do a lot of update and customer loses all the time the connection to ALL profile. This is not a way of working professionally!!!!
There is an OCR API is listed as a software download. It doesn't work like that so there will be no way to download anything from the reputable brand. Instead I expect you will get invasive Web Catalog software stuck on your system.
Piece of crap. Trying to remove it, but it has associated itself with Discord somehow, even though I never did so manually. The only thing I added to WebCatalog was Red Note, but when that didn't work, I uninstalled WebCatalog. Now I can't gain access to my Discord account on my browser, because I get a big white screen from WebCatalog saying that I can't log in to WC. Support told me to reinstall, but I can't login and I can't re-register. What a pain in the ass.
Tried using this when National Trust website wanted me to use Webcatalouge to email NT customer service but after installing the application but didn’t work. Maybe my vpn blocked it, but not worth the trouble. Will be deleting.
I don't know what they install on your computer but the software they are saying you can download isn't even downloadable software, some of them are just websites
DO NOT USE! A WebCatalog APP called PUBLIC installed the a SEVERE virus on my W11 PC.
