Completely unprofessional and disorganized. They just make you waste your time with ridiculous test tasks and end your contract for no reason. You can't withdraw funds below a certain amount and the support team doesn't help.

I had a shocking experience with Welocalize's recruitment process that proves their total lack of credibility. I was waiting for a fresh link to take 'Part 3' of the Rater Exam after the previous one expired. They sent me the new link, and literally ONE HOUR later, I received an automated email stating that I failed the exam!
How can someone fail an exam they haven't even opened yet? This is a clear case of 'Mass Automated Rejection.' They don't evaluate your skills or look at your performance; they just clear their queue by rejecting everyone regardless of whether they took the test or not. It's a waste of time and an insult to professionals. If you're looking for a fair opportunity, stay away from this messy and dishonest system

Overall waste of time, i get an email saying i passed my exams and then a week later i have failed. After sharing a lot of personal information and spending a great deal of time, i believe i need to make this review public on all platforms i own so as to save others the headache. This is completely unprofessional, which justifies the lowest rating and fails to meet user expectations on YMYL topic. This is a scam, run!

I had a very bad and shocking experience with Welocalize. They assigned me a task, and after I completed it, they told me I would receive a payment of $2000. They said there was a “procedure” to get my money.
When I informed them that I am from India, they still said they processed my payment to a Malaysia bank and asked me to pay different charges to receive it—IMF code fee, COT code fee, currency exchange fee, and more. Every time I paid, they created a new reason to ask for more money.
Like this, they took around ₹2,00,000 from me.
Later, they gave me a fake agreement saying no more payment was needed. But after that, they again started asking for extra money, saying it was for “delay charges.” This is completely unacceptable and clearly a scam.
Because of them, I lost my hard-earned money and now I am in debt. They gave false promises, fake documents, and kept trapping me into paying again and again.
This company is completely fake and untrustworthy. Please do not fall into this trap.
I am requesting anyone who reads this to guide me on how to get back my money. I don’t want any extra money from them—I only want my ₹2,00,000 back.

First, this is very very geniune review , beacuse i was one of who frustrated due scam websites like appen and oneforma , but weloclize is very very legit platform. Lot of negative reviews beacuse of tight level of assessment and overall process. But if you invest foucused time , you will get tasks and project 100%. I earned 10$ in two week by search quality rater , just rater exam was quite diffucult.but after got selected payment made in 2nd week without problem. Due to platform NDA aggrement , i can't share payment invoice but trust me , its 100% legit.

This company has no intention of paying freelancers and appears more interested in collecting money from them instead. I completed the assigned work and requested payment, only to be told that I needed to purchase a “Company ID” before I could be paid. After that, additional unexplained fees kept being introduced—one after another.

When I informed them that I was no longer interested and requested a refund, they demanded yet another fee just to process the refund. This is BULLSHIT, extremely unprofessional and unethical behavior. They consistently avoided clear explanations and acted as though they didn’t understand the issue.

Very poor business practices. I told them about the review and send link for them to check. They dont even care. I strongly recommend avoiding this company— Dont even deserve a star.

It was a relieve to see that it's not only my impression, but this company is just wanting to get personal data. At the beginning of the year they refused me for exactly the same job I'm now selected for. What's changed in 10 months? Strange issue.... I'm not going to continue with the selection procedure. No time to loose...

Welocalize is totally unprofessional.

The company post on linkedin and other platform non exixtent job opportunities pushing you into subscribing to their platform.

Once you are there if you ask why the situation is not as they promised they immediately kick you out without any explanation.

If you ask for explanation you only receive automated responses.

After that every now and then they will send you email telling you to go back cause there are several new job opportunities (unexistent).

If you try to go back you still are locked out they still do not reply.

It is a total scam, it is just a money machine that works without producing anything. The people that managed to work for them say they are not payed that much and it is time wasted.

They all are fraud, first I say that I'll not pay any kind of upfront, then after completing the work, they say that you pay the upfront fee.

Shit company with very poor labor ethics.

Made me lose time with tests and security like it was for The Pentagon ( passed everything, nothing to hide) and then just said for reasons we will not reveal your out...

Maybe they just steal personal data...

This is a big scam. They ask you to May a payment before they can pay you for the work you did. They continue to lie about paying and give you work without payment. They use alias names. They don't even deserve a 1 star.

I completed their training, I passed all their tests, and I was even summoned for a live session meeting to start working on the project...and nothing. The meeting got postponed until further notice; and that was it. I started receiving automatic emails that had nothing to do with me, and no one responded to my tickets—a huge disappointment.

My experience with this company has been incredibly disappointing. I started working for them as a linguist a few years ago, and during the COVID period, I had to call the head office repeatedly to get paid—despite sending numerous emails that went completely unanswered. After that, I stopped accepting projects due to their horrendous invoicing system.

A few months ago, I received a job offer from Welo Data, which seemed to be their brand for AI projects. I went through weeks of back-and-forth emails, sending documents, etc., only for their platform to automatically reject my application after I entered my country of residence (which was in line with the job requirements). I spent hours trying to resolve this issue, but they ignored me and eventually ghosted me.

Soon after, I received another job offer from the same company. Willing to give them another opportunity, I shared the issues I had faced previously. Instead of addressing my concerns, they simply instructed me to fill out the application form again. So, I began the process from the beginning. I created a new account on a different platform, followed all the new instructions, and spent additional time sending emails to inquire about the status of my application, as they failed to follow up.

Once again, the person I was in contact with stopped responding. Shortly after, I received an email notifying me that my application had been rejected, despite not having taken any test—I had simply followed the necessary administrative procedures.

After reaching out to their support team, they simply replied (paraphrasing): "We can’t tell you why, but your account has been deactivated, and you won’t be able to apply for any jobs in the future."

I would advise others to avoid their job offers. It’s a complete waste of time, and they don’t have the decency to provide explanations or proper support. This has been the worst experience I’ve had by far.

I've been working for Welocalize for over a year now. While the tasks are relatively easy and fast to do, the lack of them over the past months has been kind of annoying. However I always got paid on time and there has been a good support when I had questions or made a ticket.

After spending nearly a month to finish their test, training, and assessment, the process is not as smooth as you imagine. Sometimes when you finish one step, it takes a few days to update your status.
When I finished all the stuff, and moved to the final step, submitting my financial information. They will require you to submit your bank account, ID, passport photo, and your photo. In this process, the verification websites went wrong a few times. I retried and submitted it twice, and it shows it's done. Then I refreshed the website and updated my status. Guess what?? It shows "Verification Failed. It won't be possible to move forward with the process." At this point, when I try to go back to their main page, and no jobs are shown, I cannot do anything!!
I have also found that some people experienced the same thing as me. Are they truly hiring or is it a SCAM for getting your personal information????🙃

A girl named Evalina Jesse has posted some jobs on Threads, and my friend messaged her to work then she has given her 55 pages pdf to retype and she said she will pay her $1500 for that work. But after she completed the work, she said her to connect to her Payment gateway manager and after getting bank details, he just said to pay $85 for ID Card and sent some ID card reference. After that now they stop replying. They all are fraud named Evalina Jesse and Andrew Nelson.
