About 25 years ago my wife had a colleague that was a artist sketch a drawing of our middle child. We decided it would be nice to purchase a sketch of all of our kids, so I searched the internet and selected whataportrait. My art request followed the unexpected passing of our beautiful friend and dog - Tigi. Although the general theme didn't change, as a person with little art experience, the detail changed quite a few times. Great Customer Service
Initially after placing my order I received a suggestion from the company suggesting a different size for the artwork I was having done. This was to enhance the overall picture, and to avoid awkward cropping. After I received the package in the mail, which was sent from India, I found that the package was empty. One side of the tube was opened and the picture gone. I do not know if this was accidental, or if it could have been stolen somewhere in transit. I contacted the company right away. Within a day or two, they assured me that they were requesting an investigation with the USPS, and that the artwork was already being re-done. I was so hoping to have this by Christmas morning and would have if the artwork had been in the package when it arrived. We received it within a few weeks and while not on Christmas morning, my daughter absolutely loves the picture of her and her puppy. Customer service was very responsive, and did their very best to replace the missing artwork. They were Patient and kind on the telephone, and emails were sent to me regularly for updates. The customer service and the artwork itself, (which is a pencil/charcoal drawing) are outstanding! The bummer was that the artwork was missing initially, however, this was not the fault of Whataportrait. I did not realize that the artwork is commissioned outside of the United States. Again , they had an artist complete this a second time as quickly as possible after my phone call. I would definitely use this company again.

Brings Warmth to Decor
Whataportrait did an outstanding job turning our trip’s photo into a beautiful oil painting to compliment our interior home decor. Turning our personal photo into an oil painting brings warmth and meaning into our house decor. We plan to look through additional photos for oil painting candidates. There are plenty of paintings of the places we have visited, but Whataportrait captured the scene exactly as we saw it. The entire process was quick
The entire process was quick, simple and easy. I uploaded my picture, answered a few simple questions and approximately three weeks later, I had a beautiful, original portrait of my grandson and his mothers on his first day of life.
