STILL no change in my listing. I have tried numerous times to update, and waited... Haven't lived at that address for over 10 years! They have also ignored every attempt to have the listing for my brother removed. He died 7 years ago now, and I remember even providing a link to his obituary as proof....

White Pages:
I looked up the rating of the White Pages by the Better Business Bureau.

It made me wonder about the quality of the White Pages business online when the BBB gives them a rating of 1.21 out of a possible 5?

In addition The BBB has worked to resolve 555 complaints against the White Pages during the last 3 years including resolution of 142 complaints during the last 12 months. It would be interesting to know how many cases currently remain unresolved?

Perhaps, my assumption is wrong, but The White Pages customer service activities seem to be keeping some of The BBB staff relatively busy?

I found my listing on White Pages, but it is full of errors about where I live/lived, relatives, etc. They give out false info and getting thru to customer service if you are a "Premium Member" is not possible. This site is one big mess with mistakes and me and, no doubt, on many, many others.

Whitepages sent me several emails claiming a person I was keeping in touch with had a property change. I paid the monthly fee to access the change only to find out there was none. Far as I can make out, there is no customer service. So I can't even ask for my money back. Ripoff.

I was trying to find a phone number for a person and all of the phone numbers that they listed for this person were incorrect. What a waste of money.

Don't waste money advertising here, they just litter in your driveway when they "deliver" phonebooks. Pathetic thing is we have a letter box not 2 steps from where they threw the phonebook on the ground! Must take too much effort get their lazy fat @r$e out of the car to place it in the letterbox as opposed to illegally littering!

I paid $11.99 for a one time search. I followed up with the information I received in my report. None of the many phone numbers, e-mails or addresses were current. A true waste of time & money, not to mention disappointment and frustration.

Appears to be scamming people. They claim information is provided for a fee. You pay the fee and useless information is provided. It does not appear they use funds provided to update their information from the last paper phonebook published in the early 2000’s. I have no idea what they do with their revenue. Business development budget appears to be $0.00

Really a waste of money. I only used the one time payment, so it's only $12 or so, but I was looking for a cell number. Of the four options provided, three were out of commission and the fourth was a completely arbitrary number to a person who apparently was just pulled out of a hat.

Add my review to the mix of many 1 star reviews. This site rarely has the correct information... and they want you to pay for it! They have 'current' addresses for people who haven't lived at that particular address for 20 years!

In 2020 I paid for several background checks and received the reports, since I knew some of the info on each person I realized lots of their info was WRONG - A few weeks later I started getting emails saying there was "NEW" information available so I paid for those updates only to discover that there was NOTHING new in the new report at all. In one 2022 report it said the 2 people I checked on that lived in the same house - still lived there even though the house was SOLD in 2020 years before that NEW info report came out. I keep getting NEW info emails on several different aspects of the reports and there has not been a Single change other then an address change from the SOLD HOUSE to a new location (Assisted Living) and now they are saying they live at the OLD address again - THEY DON'T - If the info you are emailing me about and expect payment make sure it is "NEW" not 3-4 years old and already paid for.

I recently discovered that White Pages is reporting that I used to live in Fort Benning, GA.

I have never lived in Fort Benning. I have never been to Fort Benning. I have never lived in Georgia. I have never been to Georgia.

I would very much like to know where White Pages obtained information that I used to live in Georgia. For that matter, I would very much like to know where White pages obtained information that I have ever even stepped foot inside of Georgia.

White pages is a web site that sells stolen data from everyone and sells it!

Would give 0 stars if I could. My account was hacked and they were allowed to bill $120 in background checks to my debit card. Very little help from their customer service department. Their website is not secure at all. Do not give them any info!

I was checking a number that seemed fraudulent on Witepages.com. In order to get info, I have to sign up for a temporary membership for $1. When I did the information did not give me a name or company that was assigned to the number. So, I immediately cancelled my membership. They requested information why I was cancelling. I told them and she tried to find info but could not.

Now, on Dec 24, I have a $19.99 charge on my credit card. This company does not seem to have good business practices and will scam money from you, every place they can.

Do not do bushiness with them.

Was suppose to be a 5 day trial period, I honestly didn't know about the $19.95 a month will be charged to My debit card after the trial period. My intentions were a one time search. I also thought it was a subscription that I could cancel on My Google subscriptions, but whitepages.com was not listed so I assumed there wasn't a subscription at all, until they charged My debit card today. Pretty sneaky business they have. So I signed in on Whitepages and cancelled it manually. My fault for allowing this to happen, live and learn. Merry Christmas!!

I logged in as a new member for a one time search, was charged $11.99, and received an email saying my report was ready. I logged in to the report access file, and it showed no report. Like an idiot, I repeated the process in the hope that there was an error in my first try. Same result. No report. As far as I am concerned I was scammed

It always says it has to check my connection. Such baloney! What in blazes has happened to whitepages? It is completely inaccessible. Worthless. It's been giving this same message for months. I'm done. There are better and far more reliable sources out there.

total scam, they got info at least 3 years old and missing current. dont waste your money

Stay clear, do not waste your money, information is outdated by decades. They want $$ for every little tidbit of info, and it has not been true for me. I wasted $12 bucks. Scam.
