Wick Guru Avis 35

Got a bundle as a gift and they are genuinely awful for the price, 50+ pounds for three incredibly small candles. I can't smell a thing and neither could my partner. For that price I expected much higher quality and there are many candle brands with better smelling candles for a much smaller price point.

Absolutely gorgeous smelling candles, I got the baked croissant and my house smelt like a Parisian bakery. Stunning

Beautiful candles. They seem expensive at first, but, last for ages and you only need to burn for a short while for the aroma to linger for hours.
The " fresh baked bread" one is amazing. Really does smell just like that, but not overpowering.
Its the first candles I have ever used that my partner( who hates candles) hasnt moaned about! Result.
The delivery and ongoing communication were excellent. And, its so nice to support a small, family firm. Just ordered my second batch!

I discovered Wick Guru on IG a year or so ago, and have bought many of their candles. They are all fabulous scents, very well produced! I particularly like the buttery croissant and baked cookies - yum! This an approachable company that truly cares about the customer experience, and does all in its power to ensure their service and products are top notch. I'll be buying from here for years to come. Wick guru are such a beautiful brand that I stumbled across on socials! I love their branding, the variety of different scents, customer service and just as an overall brand. I would recommend this brand if you’re looking for the aesthetic as well as gorgeous scents to fill your home!

I don’t say this lightly. This is the best candle I have ever bought. I’ve seen them all - all the expensive designer brands that cost an arm and a leg and often smells overpowering and sickly. Wick Guru’s candles are ELITE

Lovely candles from a small business!

Love love their candles, especially thw croissant scent and have repurchased a few times.

I recently decided to try out Wick Guru candles. The website showed all prices in my local currency, their shipping page says they collect VAT for EU customers at the time of purchase on purchases under €150 (which my order was), and my receipt showed the amount I paid in taxes. However when the package arrived to my country, I was asked to pay VAT as well as a fee (equivalent to around €9) to process the VAT payment before I can get my package.

I wrote to Wick Guru as instructed by the post office, and while Wick Guru refunded me the amount of VAT I need to pay, I'm still out the extra processing fee. Further, Wick Guru wrote in their response to me that they have been dealing with issues with their fulfillment center for the past month related to issues with VAT payments. While their customer service was incredibly quick to reply and kind in their response, it leaves a terrible taste in my mouth that they've not updated their website to warn you of this issue in advance if it's been ongoing for a month. Frankly, I likely wouldn't have purchased if I'd known I'd owe VAT on arrival, and if I had, it would've been an active choice on my part instead of a last minute shock.

Had to chase for delivery updates, advised of issues with suppliers (despite social media making out products made in house?!), when their freshly baked bread candle finally arrived it was closer in scent to burnt toast - would not recommend.

Just excellent. Great customer service and the products are wonderful. Highly recommended.

I’m not a fan, we couldn’t smell ours. I don’t know whether we got a bad batch or something but for the price we thought we were buying something exceptional that would be much better than anything else on the market.

The croissant scented candle didn’t smell like croissant at all, or anything similar for that matter. I love supporting small business but this was a case of clever marketing over quality.

Not only do they sell absolutely gorgeous smelling candles, they are fantastic when comes to customer service. The Buttery Croissant and Fresh Baked Bread candles are amazing scents. Anyone coming into your home will ask about them. They’re not over powering but you will notice them, which is the point of a scented candle!
