Wicks Hailsham - Amy Louise Hudson

Amy Louise Hudson, the designer at the Hailsham Wicks store was so very helpful with suggestions and plans for our ensuite bathroom. We want the bath out and a walk in shower in. Amy replied immediately to my texts, answering my questions. In store she explained the procedures etc very clearly, taking me through the proccess step by step.
I highly recommend popping in to speak with Amy if you want to make any bathroom changes!

I am very sorry to give such a low…

I am very sorry to give such a low rating for my kitchen experience at Aylesbury Wicks. I experienced fantastic support and service from Martin Clarke the kitchen designer - nothing was too much trouble. I employed my own kitchen fitter and when he came to fitting the cupboard mounted bin he found it didn't fit - it was too small for the cupboard. I pointed this out on email to Martin who agreed that the bin would not fit the 425 cupboards as the bin was made for a 400 cupboard. He promised to call with a solution. We did not hear from him so emailed for our money back (they are over £150) and buy one that fits as Wicks do not supply a bin that fits the cupboards they sell (this was confirmed by Martin). We did not get a response to that email so eventually we rang and was assured that the refund would be no problem and would be issued to us. I have emailed again to politely ask for my refund and still no response. As usual companies like Wicks are happy to take your money but not happy to take responsibility for mistakes and refund. My kitchen was delivered late August and we are in January and still no solution. I would appreciate support from Wicks to solve this issue.

Incredible Customer Support

Today, Wednesday 18th December 2024, I visited Wicks ( 235 ) on Stratford Road, Hall Green, Birmingham to purchase some replacement gutter material.

Unable to find one important piece of material after searching the gutter section for around 20 minutes I looked around for an assistant and found Heather helping another customer in another aisle. I waited patiently until she had finished then asked for her assistance in finding the piece I was looking for.

Without a moments hesitation Heather, asked me to follow me to the information desk where, without any fuss whatsoever, she checked the system and informed me that there were 20 or more in the store. She then asked me to follow her to the section.

With her enviable, youthful flexibility and dexterity Heather quickly located the piece I wanted - right down at the back of the bottom section - much too far away for my old joints to manage. But that was not all.

I asked Heather if I could take the main piece out to the car park, before I bought it, to see if it would fit inside my car. Of course, said Heather and yes, it did fit snugly inside my car. Such courtesy and consideration did not pass unnoticed and for that simple act of kind consideration and trust I thanked Heather from the bottom of my heart.

I then proceeded to purchase one other item before moving to the payment desk where there was a short queue. Heather saw me waiting and, without a moments hesitation stopped what she was doing and called my over to another till to complete my purchase transaction.

I could not fault the impecable service and consideration Heather afforded me at all times and that will stay with me for a very long time indeed.

Thank you Heather, from the bottom of my heart, for your truly unslefish, Christian kindness.

Such unexpected kindness and consideration has convinced me to make Wicks at Hall Green, Birmingham my first port of all for all my DIY needs.

Once again, thank you Heather and thank you Wicks for employing such a delighful, helpful assistant.

Highly recommend wicks for kitchens

We purchased our kitchen from wicks in yeovil .Jessica Marsh helped us with the design .she was very helpful. The delivery was on time and handled with care .the fitter was Alex Burwood he was very polite ,professional and helpful with advice. We will definitely recommend wicks and the team

Wicks Kitchen installation

My wife and I had been researching a kitchen for quite some time. We went into Wicks High Wycombe and met with Wade McCleary. What a nice man. He listened to our requirements - visited our home to measure up. The design we agreed is excellent. The little touches added make the kitchen ours.
The builder who was allocated to our fit was Mark Glanville from 349 Building and Maintenance. He made some further suggestions. The work is excellent and the kitchen is ours. The electrician Kevin Burns made suggestions and the work is also of an excellent quality.
I cannot recommend the whole process from design to installation enough.
Excellent from start to finish...

Excellent customer service

Went to Bridgend Wicks.
Asked for help regarding footings for a shed. Cameron was very patient showed fantastic customer service. He helped us choose what to get,pur the bags on the trolley (very heavy), took them to the car and placed in the boot.
Going back tomorrow to get more. Excellent service****

Wickes little earner.

We ordered a Sun Tube to get extra light into a dark hallway. Our mistake we ordered one for a slate roof when we needed one for a tiled roof. We rang Wickes straight away, they said cancel the order and reorder the right one and we would get a refund in 3 to 5 days.
After a week and no sign of a refund we rang customer services and were told it could take 2 weeks for a refund.
So Wickes took 2 lots of £405 pounds of us within a 20min period and are going to hold on to our money for at least 2 weeks before we get it back. Good little earner Wicks but it rubbishes your reputation with us.

The best experience from wicks birkenhead

We Ordered a new kitchen from wicks birkenhead.our experience was fantastic from design to installation it was so stress free even making changes along the way was easy to do.
I must single out the designer
John Bolton, the fitter paul Duncan, the tiler terry.
Best experience of workmen I have ever had thankyou wicks.

I went to wicks in Gravesend I would recommend them

I went to wicks in Gravesend where Rachel Adams did a great job of designing my kitchen and Gin did and excellent job of installing it. It is just what I imagined and Gin fixed any unforseen problems. I would definitely recommend them, you won't be disappointed.

The Rachel is a scammer

The Rachel is a scammer, keep asking me top up my capital when there is huge floating loss and when I am to withdraw my profit, she do not answer my call and message.

So I decided change my password and then suddenly my account is burst .

All my capital and profit is gone.

Kitchen design and fitting

I can't give enough praise to the designer and fitting trade team from the St Jamses retail park in Newcastle.
We had the plan and visual computer design work completed by Andrew Walker, Micky King and the team did the fitting ( great job guys) everyone was professional and polite and as clients we were kept informed by Wicks customer experience centre, from start to finish it was a great experience.

NYLON PLASTERBOARD FIXERS

NYLON PLASTERBOARD FIXERS.
Very fragile. Does not screw into plasterboard without snapping. This is with varying sizes of pilot hole to assist.
That this product even made it to the shelf shows that no proper research was undertaken.

I had a really helpful service at king's Lynn.
Great staff and so much information about the kitchens.
Also got me a fair price as on a budget.

But if your wanting white blackout blinds don't buy them from wicks. If you want a merky blue grey colour then these are for you. I wanted white as in white not grey not blue not a merky mix.. just plain white!!! I get it that white comes in varying shades but these don't qualify on any level as 'white'.
These blinds are merky horrible and a big waste of my time.

I ordered these waited for them. I need them. I've pinned up window covers while I waited for these to arrive so was keen to get them and put them up ...immediately but looks like a return trip to wicks and another wait for blinds.
Very dissapointing and annoying. Shame I can't post a photo so you can see for yourselves.

Wicks I suggest you put out colour samples so folk know what they're getting and you'll save dissapointed customers.

6 Weeks wasted

My best advice is "DO NOT ATTEMPT TO BUY WARDROBE DOORS FROM WICKES" Just had the worse experience of doing so over the past 6 weeks, no one from Customer Services has a clue about ordering their own Sliding doors. I waited for emails to be replied which took nearly a week at a time as I was informed that they are not allowed to call the customer back I had to keep phoning them for updates. Despite some twenty plus emails over six weeks the incorrect size doors were delivered and had to be returned to the supplier.
I was told that the supplier did not receive the 'Made to measure' forms from Wicks.
I made three complaints to the complaints department which were totally ignored and just passed back to the Customer Services, the very people I was complaining about!
It ended up with the incorrect sliding doors being returned with no one contacting me again to order the correct doors, despite promising to do so.
I gave up and ordered the same 'Space Pro' doors with B & Q in thirty minutes which Wickes could'nt do in six weeks.
I actually blame the Managers as no one is obviously training the Staff to be respectful of the Customers, --------communication from them is as bad as it gets.

Sales staff great - Delivery could be better

Sales staff were great but delivery comms could be better. No text came at any time. Be aware delivery Team is 1 person (CitySprint) so if is a large item (as mine was) you will have to help. Make clea on your order if you cant! - dont know if that will work but you could be in a pickle if you are unable to help

My wife and i visited Wicks at St James…

My wife and i visited Wicks at St James Boulevard Newcastle upon tyne to view the kitchen range and We were met by Chelsie. We gave her the measurements of our kitchen and she designed the the lay out for us we chose the sofia range in pewter. chelsey was more than helpful and she was amazing we had a few problems with wrong units that i had ordered and it was no problem she sorted everything out no problem at all . Chelsie was great and i would definitely recommend her to design your kitchen once again many thanks Chelsie Norma And Les .

Kitchen design and installation

Kimberley from The Preston store was so helpful right from the initial design and quote stages right through to completion.she has been in contact regularly throughout to ensure we were happy and couldn’t do enough to make sure we were reassured along the way I would highly recommend her to anyone ,the quality of the kitchen is fantastic we are so happy with the results.Carl the kitchen fitter has done a great job he was reliable and his work was finished to a great standard we would definitely use his services again
